until Howard Stern came and defeated him in the ratings. He wound up
working on the same station Stern was working at (with Stern's
approval).
Is an avid animal lover and has two dogs, two cats, and all three types
of fish, (fresh water, salt water, and frozen). His "DeBella's Dogs
segment" is so homeless pets from Philadelphia area shelters are
featured in hopes of finding a loving home.
His first wife was one of his listeners.
Was a stand-up comedian in New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City,
and Baltimore.
Has been a DJ for 102.9 WMGK in Philadelphia hosting The
John DeBella show from 5:30 AM - 9:00 PM EST (August 2005)
