Based on Jane Austen's unfinished novel, this costume drama follows Charlotte as she moves to the small seaside village of Sanditon. Here she is destined to meet Sidney, a proud and cold young man.

Netflix has released the first half of Bridgerton season 3, a new chapter of the series about how young aristocrats find love. The new season broke the order of Julia Quinn's original novels – instead of the story of Benedict Bridgerton, we explore the relationship between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.
Fans Want to See The Love Story of Violet & Edmund
The show spends a lot of time on the young characters and much less on the older ones. Lady Violet Bridgerton mainly helps her children and gives them advice to get settled in life. But sometimes we are shown echoes of her love story with Viscount Edmund Bridgerton, who tragically died at the age of 39 from an allergic reaction to a bee sting.
Lady Bridgerton's rare comments about her late husband are so touching and bittersweet that fans now want to see the love story of the Bridgerton parents as a separate season.

Directed by Paul Ziller, Curious Caterer: Foiled Plans begins in the cozy setting of Sir Alistair’s beautiful castle, where Goldy and Marla are catering a fundraising night. The castle is filled with guests and stunning medieval decorations, setting the stage for Sir Alistair to make some big announcements. But just as he’s about to speak, he collapses to the floor, dead! Everyone is shocked. Could the murderer be among the guests? Adding to the chaos, conman Edmund Schultz has escaped from prison, and US Marshal Gerard Track is here to sniff him out. Did Schultz crash the party, or was he the killer? Also, there is another twist to the story: Edmund is actually the father of Tom, the main detective in the case, who was also at the party! With so many enemies of Sir Alistair, the case becomes incredibly complicated. But fear not, because what we...

Racism and abandonment form the crux of the deeply tragic horror story Them: The Scare. Sadly, though, the two extremely important subject matters don’t quite gel well, thanks to the writers’ inability to find a seamless blend. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad show, though; it’s just that the latest season of Prime Video’s horror anthology series falls quite short of being something truly great. The in-your-face yellow filter also plays a role in that. It would have been much better had the show done away with it. What really works is the absolutely terrific acting performance by the cast, led by the magnificent Deborah Ayorinde, who returns to play a new character. Pam Grier is very impressive as the mother of Ayorinde’s lead, although she could have been utilized a lot more. And never in my life would I have imagined seeing someone...

A twin brother and sister get separated in childhood. The sister, however, is raised by a decent family and goes on to become a police officer. The brother, sadly, gets the short end of the stick and eventually turns into a psychopathic serial killer. The second season of Prime Video’s Them, titled The Scare, can be summed up with just this much, but there is an obvious horror element playing at large. The “scare” in the title points to this supernatural entity, which consumes the brother and tries to do the same with the sister. In this article, we’re going to put the ending of the show under the microscope and also look into the themes of this season. There will be major spoilers ahead, so if you haven’t watched it yet, please stop reading this article at this point.

Them: The Scare, the newest entry into the black horror anthology for Prime Video, will blow your mind.
The follow-up to Them: Covenant brings the action forward in a few decades to 1991, where LAPD Detective Dawn Reeve will be embroiled in a case unlike anything she's ever seen.
And soon enough, her family will be affected in ways she never saw coming.
The series, born from the mind of its brilliant creator Little Marvin, has a robust cast. TV Fanatic was blessed to take part in the Them: The Scare press day, where we chatted with stars Luke James, Joshua J. Williams, and Pam Grier.
One of the biggest strengths of the Them: The Scare series is its fantastic cast, which brings this decidedly twisty and scary tale to life.
Luke James, from The Chi fame, steps into the role of Edmund Gaines and gives a scene-stealing performance.

How often do we see a sequel to a spinoff that is actually a lot of fun? What if you then also made it a tragic love story that involves zombies? That sounds like a Roger Corman or Troma movie but in actuality it’s Return of the Living Dead III (watch it Here) and its from channel favorite Brian Yuzna. Return of the Living Dead is a stone cold classic and is one that I sometimes prefer watching over any of the original Romero trilogy due to how different it is and how it sets up its own rules. Part 2 I have great memories of seeing on TV at my Nana’s house in Santa Ana, California on an old tube TV. It skates that Evil Dead II line of leaning much further into the comedy realm than the first, which is pretty funny in its own way and right.

Melissa Barrera seems remarkably composed for someone navigating one of the most trying periods of their personal and professional lives. You’ve probably seen the headlines: The rising star of Vida, In the Heights, and the Scream films was fired from the horror franchise and falsely branded antisemitic for a series of Instagram posts calling attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza that’s claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people.

Somewhat mysterious and fearless, Oscar-winning British actor Jeremy Irons has played a host of different characters during his decades-long career, from Adrian Veidt in Damon Lindelof’s TV series “Watchmen,” to Rodolfo Gucci in Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci,” British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in “Munich: The Edge of War” and Alfred Pennyworth in the DC Extended Universe films, including the latest “Justice League.” Reteaming with Palme d’Or winning Bille August for the third time, Irons will next play Abbé Faria, a noble and wise character, in the prestige limited series “The Count of Monte Cristo,” starring opposite fellow British actor Sam Claflin as Edmond Dantès. The premum limited series is distributed worldwide by Mediawan Rights, in cooperation with CAA (for North America).

It's the end for Belle and Shawn... maybe.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10-02-23 suggest that the soap will again use the overheard conversation trope to make Belle aware that Shawn slept with Talia.
The fallout from this could be spectacular, even if it's the second time in as many weeks that someone heard a secret not meant for their ears!
Shawn should have told Belle in the first place. She knew he'd been drinking and said nasty things about her multiple infidelities, so she might have understood.
It's probably the lying more than the one-night stand that bothers her.
Still, the pile-on that's about to happen feels like a double standard.
Belle has cheated on Shawn on multiple occasions, and he's always taken her back, but when Shawn has a drunken one-night stand with another of Marlena's patients, it appears he will incur...

Warning: contains major spoilers for the Seven Kings Must Die ending.
That battle was the crowning moment of Seven Kings Must Die, twenty-plus minutes of visceral squelch and blood flying on a scale that The Last Kingdom hasn’t seen before.
But after the fighting was over, when the dead had been counted and the wounded carried away to their fates, the film ended with a quiet scene that concluded a thread woven throughout this story from the start. Alfred’s dream was finally achieved – England was formed – not by him, nor by Edward, but by King Aethelstan and Uhtred Ragnarsson, who was left hanging in the balance between life and death.
Does Uhtred Die at the End of the Film?
As the narrator of Bernard Cornwell’s Saxon Stories, Uhtred obviously survives into old age in the books in order to tell his tale. The film Seven Kings Must Die,...

‘The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die’ (2023). Netflix Movie: epic, yes, without being spectacular
The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die is a movie directed by Edward Bazalgettestarring Alexander Dreymon, Mark Rowley and Arnas Fedaravicius.
It is based on the novel by Bernard Cornwell.
As it is becoming usual in well-known series, Netflix gives us this story that, set in The Las Kingdom, will delight the fans who enjoy the series and its great plot.
Historical novels are a hit, and thanks to authors like Bernard Cornwell, the quality of their plots and arguments were assured. Moreover, readers loved them and The Last Kingdom is a great example of this.
The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die (2023)
After Vikings, this story of Saxons and Vikings was a success in its serial format and now it comes as a two-hour episode that can be watched independently, but that you will enjoy much more if you are fans of the excellent TV series.
Is it the spectacle we were hoping?...

Seven Kings Must Die concludes the story of Uhtred Ragnarsson, a decades-long frenemy of the English crown since the days of King Alfred the Great. It’s largely adapted from Bernard Cornwell’s final instalment in his Saxon Stories books, War Lord, along with elements of the two previous novels, and tracks the contested succession to the royal throne following the death of King Edward.
A significant time jump has taken place since the final moments of The Last Kingdom season five, during which Aelswith, Hild and Eadith have all passed or moved away. A core of male characters remains though, including Uhtred, Finan, Sihtric, Father Pyrlig and Aldhelm. They’re joined by brand new characters, as below.
Laurie Davidson as Ingilmundr
The biggest addition to The Last Kingdom’s regular cast is Aethelstan’s new trusted advisor, Ingilmundr, a Danish-born Christian who shows a powerful influence over King Edward’s successor.

Melbourne, Jan 16 (Ians) Jannik Sinner made a confident start at the Australian Open, where the 21-year-old is aiming to back up his run to the quarter-finals from one year ago.
The 15th-seeded Italian ran away with a 6-4, 6-0, 6-2 win against Kyle Edmund to open Monday’s play here— though he needed six match points to close out a marathon final service game, reports atptour.com.
“I think I played very solid today,” Sinner said in his post-match interview in John Cain Arena. “I had some difficult times to finish it off, but I think my level was very good today.”
Sinner, who reached three quarter-finals and one fourth round (Roland Garros) at the Grand Slams in 2022, continued his consistent play in the early stages of the majors with a convincing win in under two hours.

Vikings: Valhalla is a series created by Michael Hirst and Jeb Stuart starring Sam Corlett, Laura Berlin and Bradley Freegard among others.
Today we get to see the second season of Vikings: Valhalla, a series that has known how to collect all of the essence of the preceeding series and transform it into something that is even better and richer. It knows how to make good use of all the film achievements of Vkings, but recreating the impact of the violence and extracting to advantage its barbaric and devastating essence.
This is a prequel that combines history and action, which taken to the most spectacular, has known how to reach millions of viewers with this subtle combination that works so well for some and leaving the sticklers for history rather unsatisfied.
A good, really good second season that continues the rhythm and speeds it up delivering more with regards to the first season.
