[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for the Schmigadoon! Season 2 finale.] Schmigadoon! Season 2 stuck the landing with its May 3 finale. Season 1 helped heal Melissa (Cecily Strong) and Josh’s (Keegan-Michael Key) relationship, but Season 2 taught them how to find happiness amid life’s many obstacles. After spending six deliciously seedy episodes in the darker world of Schmicago, Melissa and Josh left the magical town, choosing their real-life over fantasy. As the season’s final song states, the ending was a happy beginning. In the video above, the stars of Schmigadoon! share their happy memories of filming Season 2’s musical numbers. Strong and Key break down the Sweet Charity-inspired “Talk to Daddy” from Episode 4 and Strong’s star-moment, Cabaret-inspired Episode 5 solo “Maybe It’s My Turn Now.” Ann Harada and Jaime Camil sing the praises of their Promises, Promises, and A Chorus Line-themed scenes. And Jane Krakowski, ...

It's over and done, but aren't you glad it happened?
On Schmigadoon! Season 2 Episode 6, Josh and Melissa get their Finale Ultimo, which turns out to be a "Happy Beginning."
The singular sensation Ariana DeBose is back, opening up the episode with a fabulous tribute to 1981's R&b musical Dreamgirls.
DeBose hasn't been featured as prominently in Schmigadoon! Season 2 as she was in Schmigadoon! Season 1, likely due to her career taking off after her Oscar win -- but this is a beautiful way to showcase her doing what she does best.
DeBose delivers dramatic, dynamic vocals with elegance and glamor. The number sets the tone for the rest of the episode perfectly.
Once again, Cecily Strong proves what a marvelous actor she is. We know there will be a happy end, but her commitment to the proceedings is admirable. Patrick Page's Kratt somehow remains both dapper and dastardly. His evil knows no bounds!

The Batman is dead. Long live … his previously unseen adopted son?
That’s the premise behind “Gotham Knights,” the CW’s latest (and last?) DC Comics-based TV series, potentially putting the pin in a remarkable 18-year run encompassing everything from “Smallville” to the expansive “Arrowverse” and the still-airing (for now) “Superman & Lois.” If this is indeed the end, it feels like a sad, destined-to-be-ignored footnote rather than a triumphant farewell.
Of course, the Dark Knight has always been a particularly sparkly gem in the DC crown, which probably accounts for why his solo exploits remain the dominion of feature films, leaving various television offerings to dig and scrape in the corners and crevices of the Batman mythos for storytelling opportunities. Just in the last 10 years we’ve gotten Batman’s city before Batman (Fox’s “Gotham”), Batman’s butler before Batman (Starz/HBO Max’s “Pennyworth”), Batman’s...
