- Appeared for 3 months Off-Broadway in the first New York revival of "Angels in America" parts 1 and 2 in repertory, directed by Michael Greif, playing the role of 'Prior Walter' in 2011.

- (July 9 to August 17, 2004) He acted in Jonathan Tolins' play, "Buyer & Cellar," in a West Coast premiere at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Stephen Brackett was director.
- (2018) Played Hamlet in "Hamlet" for the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC.
