Rob Banks(VII)
- Actor
Born and raised in Southern California's Inland Empire, and mostly known to this world for his passion and talents expressed through his over double-decade music career (SoCal's POINTBLANK, 5046 Affiliates, 5046 Records), Rawb managed to land his first audition as an actor in the Matt Reaves film, "Sins Of The Son" where he portrays the character Kevin Coolidge much as himself. A casting call posted read that Reaves was searching for talent to fill the role of a "30-something, white, reformed criminal" in which Rawb was noted for stating "I don't think I'll have to act much." given the character description. Also noted for hilariously stating while on set "I'm not really an actor." his co-star and on-screen flame, Rebecca Teresia, was quick and kind to assure him that his lack of experience/training lent to a more natural, comfortable, and honest personification of the character on script while translated to film. Filmmaker Reaves' open minded approach while cameras were rolling, too had been noted for immense positive support when met with Rawb's lack of "word for word" script memorization though possessing an unteachable ability of understanding situational flow complimented with mild ad-lib. Absolutely, to Rawb's chagrin, improvised moments were well received while delivered.
