‘In the Belly of a Tiger’, directed and cinematographed by Siddhartha Jatla is poised for its world premiere at the distinguished 74th Berlin International Film Festival. This film promises a captivating human narrative intertwined with visually stunning cinematography, a testament to Jatla’s profound connection with the art of filmmaking since his formative years.
Co-written by Siddhartha and Amanda Mooney, the story unfolds in rural India, delving into the resilience of the human spirit amidst the harsh realities of power dynamics where the vulnerable are exploited by the powerful. The film centres on the fundamental right of human dignity, as a family grapples with economic insecurity. The film contrasts the beauty of the human spirit, and a deeply personal love story, with this harsh reality and calls for human society to bring hope and dignity to families in need.

Long Live Brij Mohan alum Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is back again with another nerve-wracking thriller, Apurva. From what I have gathered from his films, Nikhil Nagesh likes to do things in a peculiar way. People often cite his way of picking up a very basic plot and turning it into a harrowing story that one won’t be able to put down. It would be a crime to call his movies basic, even though they play with the same run-of-the-mill, tried-and-tested themes of deceit, love, betrayal, crime, and violence. But the way he changes it into an exciting film is a secret sauce that he isn’t keen on sharing. In layman’s terms, Nagesh’s latest work, Apurva, is a crime-thriller gone right.

New Delhi, March 22 (Ians) Tuberculosis (TB), commonly known to impact the lungs, can also affect a woman’s reproductive health. However, timely intervention can improve treatment outcomes and help women to conceive, health experts said on Wednesday.
Female Genital Tuberculosis (Fgtb) is commonly seen in women and requires prompt medical attention. It is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (rarely Mycobacterium bovis and/or atypical mycobacteria) being usually secondary to TB of the lungs or other organs.
“Female Genital Tuberculosis is a bacterial infection of the female reproductive system that is known to cause infertility in women. This type of TB can take a toll on the fallopian tubes, uterus, ovaries, cervix, and vagina,” said Dr Surabhi Siddhartha, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Motherhood Hospital, Mumbai.
In Fgtb, fallopian tubes are affected in 90 per cent women, whereas uterine endometrium is affected in 70 per cent and ovaries in about 25 per cent women.

The youngest of Bollywood’s famous Kapoor brothers, he did not have their one defining and enduring cinematic image – Raj’s naive "tramp" identity in the Charlie Chaplin tradition or Shammi’s Elvis-like jiving, rebellious "playboy" persona, but went to surpass both in sheer diversity of his acting.
With his copybook good looks, rakish smile, infectious charm, toothy grin and languid drawl, or the air of earnestness, playing romantic roles, be they of businessmen, police inspectors, college students, et al came naturally to him, but Shashi Kapoor went on to play more ‘common man’ roles, decadent princes, aging poets and even angels with the same charm and intensity.
Born on March 18, 1938 in the then Calcutta to Prithviraj Kapoor and Ramsarn ‘Rama’ Devi, Balbir Raj ‘Shashi’ Kapoor was destined to walk in his family’s footsteps on the silver screen.

Eva Lasting (La Primera Vez) is a Colombian teen series created by Dago García starring Emmanuel Restrepo and Francisca Estévez Navas.
Eva Lasting is one of those series that finds its inspiration in great tv successes like “Those Marvelous Years” and similar ones that make memories of better times a great chance to re-live them, make us listen to songs of those times, good settings and sure-fire use of a terrain in which you either do very badly or you succeed and have an assured audience because, more than listening to this story they come to tell, what they are up to is re-living their own story.
About the Series
And, Eva Lasting series is not bad at all. It is also not a systematic repetition nor a “safe” interpretation of the Seventies: here they tell us a story and manage to create a series that is far removed from...
