Francesco Monti was born in Italy where, in 2011 right after high school, he created one of Italy's premiere entertainment websites horror stab.com. During his early years, Francesco worked as a warehouse worker, a truck driver, and a website SEO specialist while obtaining his bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences. After college, he moved to New York City where he enrolled at the New York Tech and pursued his master's in Film Production & Digital Marketing.
During 2018/19, while in New York City, Francesco met different students and professionals within the film industry which aided in the creation of the web series 'Metropolitan Mysteries' (2019). In 2018 he worked as a co-producer for a Chinese film titled 'Wandering' which screened at film festivals in China. In 2020 he wrote and directed his debut short film 'Imprint' which was sent to different film festivals in the US and Europe. With the same team he produced and directed his second short film 'No Way Out' which received good votes from the public and critics. In 2021 he wrote and directed a horror short film titled 'Lisa'.
In December 2021 Francesco moved to Atlanta (GA) where he became a partner in an independent production company called 'Gold Piece Films'. From December 2021 to June 2022 he directed, produced, wrote, and edited more than 9 short films among which: 'What Do Women Really Look For?', the horror 'Username', 'Duality', 'Activate', 'Below', 'Slept', 'Company', '4 Minutes' and 'Stronger'. In May of 2022, Francesco founded GoreCulture.com an entertainment website and production company headquartered in Atlanta with which he created his horror feature debut 'Espousal'.
