Jacob Ethan Tanner is an Actor, Filmmaker, and Writer from Wales.
He trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with 1st Class Honours in 2023.
In 2021 he appeared in the S4C Welsh language short "Hen Wragedd a Ffyn", and in 2022 he played Jac in the BBC Wales short film "Wheels"; and won 'Best Actor 2022' at the 20th Annual 'Its My Shout Awards', and 'Best Actor' at the Monthly Indi Shorts, September 2022.
In 2023 he made his West-End debut in "Backstairs Billy" with Hollywood stars Luke Evans and Penelope Wilton.
He has directed music videos for Welsh artists Kate Newnham, Daniel Thomas-James, and the heavy metal band Rockabye Reaper.
His debut short film "It's Quiet in the Cold" achieved some success and won a multiple "Best First Time Director" awards, and his upcoming short "Everything Is Okay" will premiere Summer 2024.
His debut documentary feature "#54" is set for a late 2024 release.
