Even though we saw the last Harry Potter movie 13 years ago, the discussions regarding the franchise’s characters and the actors who portrayed them aren’t going to subside in a while. The same is with the first movies’ antagonist, fierce and arrogant Draco Malfoy, who was convincingly played by Tom Felton, the fandom’s favorite blondie.
It can seem that the actor now stays out of the spotlight or is out of acting at all, however, he isn’t. Indeed, after his Hp success Felton took smaller roles in a number of lesser-known projects, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth a try.
The same year when The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was released, the Draco actor appeared in Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), which gained a lot of hype at the time. The role of Dodge Landon marked a far cry from the role of Harry Potter’s rival.

7. Pansy Parkinson
For some who adds absolutely no value to the story, Pansy Parkinson has way too many mentions. Her only point is to be the insufferable person whose most notable achievement is trying to surrender Harry to Voldemort in The Deathly Hallows.
Pansy feels like a character that once had a purpose but then was randomly discarded.
6. Rolanda Hooch
Madam Hooch is one of the Hogwarts teachers, but she’s… Useless. She’s only there to give first-year students one lesson but still manages to mess it up: she can neither save a falling kid nor prevent problems in her class. What a waste of salary — even Lockhart had some actual classes and took part in important discussions!

Tom Felton has made a household name with his iconic portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series and fans love him for that even now! Even though he has long been separated from the role, he has occasionally spilled the beans on his time working on the magical set and gushed about the movies.
Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) in the Harry Potter series

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry hits Draco Malfoy with the good old Sectumsempra, and the latter almost bleeds out on the bathroom floor. Fortunately, Professor Snape happens to be nearby and saves the boy’s life; but why doesn’t Snape report Harry to the Headmaster for what looks like an attempted murder?
After all, wasn’t Snape the last person who felt excited about Harry Potter escaping the consequences of his actions over and over again? Why’d he miss his chance?
Snape Couldn’t Say a Word to Anyone
The answer to this question should become obvious if you remember the context of Harry and Draco’s unfortunate encounter. It happened when Draco was already a Death Eater tasked with killing Albus Dumbledore; when Severus Snape was already tied by the Unbreakable Vow to his mother; and when Draco first tried to use the Cruciatus Curse on Harry.

Of all the roles Tom Felton has taken on to date, his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter saga will continue to be remembered as one of his best performances ever. But despite such a remarkable embodiment of the character that had fans loving him in that respective role, the 36-year-old actor has some serious regrets related to the same nonetheless.

To be more precise, there is one scene from The Boy Who Lived’s saga that could have delivered the true respect that his character deserved. However, because of a series of unfortunate events for the young Malfoy, that scene never managed to make it to the final cut for the film and eventually transformed into one of Felton’s biggest regrets related to Potter’s Wizarding World.

For all it’s worth, My Hero Academia and Harry Potter are vastly different. Of course, some themes may overlap, but the setting, worldbuilding, and primary characters couldn’t be more distinct. And yet, the internet has found a way to bridge the gap between the two franchises—in one complaint directed specifically at Kohei Horikoshi’s acclaimed superhero Shōnen manga series.

Fresh stories are coming from the battlefields every day, but the patriotic levels in this one are as high as they’ve ever been, showcasing a Helldivers 2 fan’s commitment to his duty.

Every rose has its thorn … just like every dog has its day … Well, maybe the song doesn’t go quite like that, but a dog by the name of Bret Michaels just had its day when he was adopted by Poison frontman Bret Michaels.
On Tuesday (October 17th), the Nebraska Humane Society shared a story on Facebook about Bret Michaels the dog, in which it was reported that the 6-year-old husky donated blood to an ailing month-old kitten through a procedure known as a xenotransfusion that allows canine blood to be transfused into felines.
The post, in part read, “A round of ap-paws for Bret Michaels for being such a calm and brave boy, and to our vet team for their quick thinking. Little [kitten] is now on the road to recovery, and Bret Michaels is waiting patiently for his forever family!”

You’re a wizard indeed–and only a wizard could work the sort of spell that was cast over children and adults all over the world beginning in the late ‘90s, turning the wildly successful Harry Potter books (we’re talking 120 million copies sold here) into one of the most profitable franchises ever.
With J.K. Rowling watching over the production diligently (sometimes to a fault), Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone aka …Sorcerer’s Stone was a marvel of an adaptation. And what eventually arrived didn’t come from a burly half-giant, but rather a wide-eyed cast of newcomers, a visionary crew conjuring the proper vision and the guy who directed Adventures in Babysitting…
So put on your sorting hat and head for Platform 9 ¾ as we find out…Wtf Happened to this movie?!
The making of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone goes back to 1997, the same year the novel was published.

Shipping has become a global pastime. If you aren't aware, it's the term for wanting characters to end up in a romantic relationship. Relationship, get it?! Whether it's the chemistry between actors, a wish for an adaptation to recreate a romance that exists in a different form, the desire to see queer-coded characters actually get together, or just a feeling that characters who deserve something joyful should end up in a romance, it's a thing.
Fans smash character names together in a portmanteau, write fan-fiction about them, or just publicly hope for the love match on social media. And while love is lovely, of course, "Stranger Things" star Maya Hawke (who plays Robin) has some mixed feelings about shipping, and they're completely on point. She recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the show, where she revealed her thoughts on the subject.

Tom Felton has said he still feels “ashamed” of laughing at a young Emma Watson on the set of Harry Potter.
The Draco Malfoy star recalled the “painful” memory in his newly released memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard.
Felton is three years older than Hermione Granger star Watson, whom he met at auditions when she was just nine and he was 12 years old.
The actor wrote that, in the early days, there was a real-life divide between the young Griffindor stars and their Slytherin rivals.
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Watson formed one trio while Felton, Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe) and Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle) were slightly older.
"I suppose we thought we were a bit cooler," Felton wrote. "We'd spend our free time together listening to rap music – Wu-Tang, Biggie, 2Pac.”

Alan Rickman was unhappy about Dumbledore’s death scene in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, it has emerged.
The actor’s new book Madly, Deeply: The Diary of Alan Rickman has been published posthumously following his death aged 69 in 2016.
Rickman’s never-before-seen diaries have shed light on a number of topics, including his frank thoughts about Harry Potter.

The scene in question sees Rickman’s character Snape stepping in to kill Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) when Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) is unable to follow through on the murder. Snape had previously promised Draco’s mother Narcissa (Helen McCrory) that he would protect her son.

Alan Rickman’s never-before-seen diaries make up the new book “Madly, Deeply: The Diary of Alan Rickman,” which has been making headlines for weeks due to the legendary actor’s frank thoughts on the “Harry Potter” franchise. A new excerpt from Insider reveals that Rickman was critical of Dumbledore’s death scene as depicted in 2009’s “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” The scene finds Rickman’s Snape stepping in to kill Dumbledore after Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) fails to do the deed. Snape had previously vowed to Draco’s mother that he would watch over her son.
“The scene seems oddly lacking in drama — on the page — but that is absolute cause and effect of screenplays that have to conflate (deflate) the narrative,” Rickman wrote. “We don’t know — or remember — enough about individual characters’ concerns to understand their issues. Or care.”

Tom Felton looks different. It may seem like a cliché to point that out, but it’s the first thought I have as we shake hands inside a sparsely filled canalside pub in King’s Cross, north London. The man that sits before me couldn’t be further from Draco Malfoy. Long gone is the bleached blond hairdo, the snide Slytherin glint in his eye. He wears a white woollen cardigan, and sits drinking tea; before we speak, he politely explains that he has to first make a phone call to his mother. Some villain.
Felton is here because he has written a memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard. It’s been 11 years since the final Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and more than two decades since he was first cast as the flaxen-haired Draco. Despite a memorable role in 2011’s...
