Singers Renée and Tony Christie have attended the funeral of 'Save Your Love' singer Renato Pagliari. Former Aston Villa football manager and close friend Ron Atkinson was also among the mourners at Sutton Coldfield's Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Singer Renato Pagliari, who scored a Christmas No.1 with 'Save Your Love', has passed away aged 69. The ex-Italian waiter, who was born in Rome, died in hospital last week after suffering a brain tumour. Pagliari found fame in 1982 as one half of singing duo Renée and Renato. He also performed the famous 'Just One Cornetto' TV advert for Walls ice cream. He was first spotted by songwriter Johnny Edward when he performed on New Faces in 1975. Edward wrote 'Save Your Love' for Renée and Renato and the track eventually reached the top spot at Christmas 1976.
