- A workshop production of his play "Whyo", a violent sprawling tragedy about New York Irish gangs, at Gloucester Stage Company in 1987 resulted in Israel Horovitz commissioning a new work. The resulting play was "The Chroma Line", a comedy-drama about life in a Boston wallpaper warehouse. "Whyo" went on to receive a grant from the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities.
- Has three plays published: two one-acts, "My Name is Leslie" in Boston Theatre Marathon 2 and "Dost Pity Me, Withpett?" in Boston Theatre Marathon 3, and the full length "Robin Hood" which has been performed hundreds of times worldwide.
- His favorite movies are Black Narcissus, On the Waterfront, Moby Dick, Zulu, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, and Attack of the Crab Monsters.
