A new documentary charts the history of the Call Of Duty videogames. Here's our review...

The Call Of Duty videogame series is, as gamers will attest, a juggernaut. It attracts revenues akin to those of blockbuster movies, cost about as much to make, and every year, queues of people turn up for a midnight opening to get their hands on the new release. Not bad for a franchise that started in 2003, and has now become one of the very biggest videogaming - and entertainment - series on the planet.

Football documentaries - they're a funny old game. Today's fly-on-the-wall peeks into the lives of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo may have marked a welcome return of the genre - but compared to mud-and-studs docs of old, they're as over-polished and blemish-free as one of David Beckham's Armani suits.
And so ahead of Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and co's new BBC documentary series Out of Their League, let's reminisce about some classic football programmes - when the beautiful game felt like less a Nike advert, more like an episode of Bullseye.
1. Graham Taylor gets the sack
After an abysmal 1992 European Championships, England manager needed some positive PR, so the Fa allowed camera crews to follow him round during the entire 1994 World Cup qualification campaign for An Impossible Job.
Whoops: this spectacularly backfired for old Turnip Head, as England were knocked out. But not before Taylor effed and jeffed his way through every single match,...

32 years after he first released Football Manager, Kevin Toms is back with a new football management sim for the iPhone
Interview
When Sir Alex Ferguson trotted down the tunnel for the final time last season, people thought the longest running career in football management had come to an end. Not so. Four years before Sir Alex set about transforming Ron Atkinson’s expensively assembled pub team into a trophy photocopier, Kevin Toms released a pioneering game that made Fergusons out of all of us: Football Manager.
Now, more than 30 years since he released what became the blueprint for every football management sim that followed – including the huge franchise that bears the Football Manager name today – Kevin Toms is set to release his new football management game for the iPhone.

Its quite clear for all to see that United are definitely not the same team under David Moyes as they were under Sir Alex Ferguson, despite having incredibly similar personnel on the pitch. Manchester United have racked up a disappointing 34 points from their first 20 Premier League games (1.7 points per game) and subsequently languish in 7th place, a massive 11 points behind leaders Arsenal and a win behind 6th placed Spurs.
Not only are they all but out of the title race before the end of the January transfer window, they also suffered a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of misfiring Swansea City to knock them out of the Fa Cup 3rd round for the first time since a single Jermain Beckford goal knocked the Reds out in 2010.
On top being out of the Fa Cup, they face a fight to stay in the Capital One Cup too,...

He told Big Brother that his ideal woman would have Carol's legs, Courtney's stomach, Sophie's boobs, Charlotte's teeth and Sophie's face with the innocence of Lauren.

Ron Atkinson has become the second housemate to leave Celebrity Big Brother, after Danielle Marr's departure two nights ago.
The 74-year-old former football player and manager lost out in the public vote against Louie Spence and Courtney Stodden.
Speaking to presenter Emma Willis about leaving the show, Atkinson said: "I was quite pleased to come out now. I think I've done my time."
He also said that he had gone into the house "with an open mind" and continued: "I didn't watch an awful lot of the show in the past so I didn't know what to expect."
Atkinson added that he was glad housemate Lauren Harries had survived elimination. "I was half-suggesting nominating her in the last round," he revealed. "And then we changed it. I'm glad she's through, because she wants to be through and she wants to go on because it means an awful lot to her.

Celebrity Big Brother's Lauren Harries has told fellow housemate Sophie Anderton that she is "fed up" with her domineering ways.
Lauren decided to speak her mind after a conversation with television presenter Carol McGiffin, who said she was also growing tired of Sophie's attitude in the house.
"Sophie, I am fed up with you. All you do is boss me around all the time," Lauren began.
Sophie retorted: "What did I do? I am not the one putting pills into people's mouths," referring to Lauren's earlier warning for sharing medication with Courtney Stodden.
"I haven't even spoken to you today," she added.
"Do you know why?" said Lauren. "Because I avoid you, because all you do is boss people around and think you are the most intelligent person in the world.
"I need to say something to you because do you know what, you think you know everything.

Mario Falcone stunned his fellow housemates by slipping into a skimpy mankini for the latest task on Celebrity Big Brother yesterday afternoon (August 29).
The 25-year-old Towie star had attempted to don the garish one-piece over his clothes, but was soon informed by Big Brother that in order to pass the Random Generator task, he had to wear the Borat-inspired neon green mankini and nothing else.
In further footage from yesterday's task, Courtney Stodden was seen squawking a rendition of the American national anthem and a red-faced Dustin Diamond was singing about the contestants he nominated on Wednesday and why.
Bruce Jones was selected by the task generator to repeatedly slap himself in the face with a wet fish, and Abz Love had to eat scotch bonnets while wearing a bonnet.

The Geordie Shore star described it as like having her "heart torn out" after she was put up for the latest public vote alongside Ron Atkinson, Louie Spence, Lauren Harries and Courtney Stodden.

Danielle Marr became the first contestant to be evicted from the Big Brother house on last night's (August 28) live show.
We have to admit that upon discovering Marr was entering the house in our immediate reaction was a puzzled 'pardon?', 'eh?' and then, 'who?'
'Dermaskin clinic director' and 'celebrity Botox doctor' still left us clueless, so our expectations of entertainment from the reality TV star and beautician were fairly low.
But despite our initial disappointment, Danielle did deliver some funny and memorable moments - albeit not always intentionally - so we take a look back at her 7 best bits below.
Sophie Anderton confrontation
When Danielle found out that supposed friend and Cult of Celebrity member Sophie Anderton had put her up for nomination, fresh hell broke loose. Marr marched to the diary room and inquired, "Who the f**k does Sophie f***ing Anderton think she f***ing is?...

Celebrity Big Brother's Louie Spence has been nominated for eviction.
The Pineapple Dance Studios star was chosen by fellow housemates Ron Atkinson and Vicky Entwistle, following Danielle Marr's eviction earlier this evening (August 28).
Big Brother granted Atkinson and Entwistle the power to nominate one housemate after they survived the first public vote of the series.
The pair were called to the Diary Room where they were asked to make a decision while their fellow housemates watched from the living area.
Atkinson put forward Lauren Harries as he said he would be interested to see how the public are reacting to her. He added that he has yet to make up his mind about her.
However, former Coronation Street star Entwistle disagreed with the suggestion and said that she would rather nominate Spence.

The Dublin Wives star lost out in the first public vote of the series against former football pundit Ron Atkinson and actress Vicky Entwistle.
She was evicted to a mixed reception from the crowd following her exit from the house.
Cult of Celebrity members Louie Spence, Lauren Harries and Sophie Anderton were responsible for this week's nominations after being moved to a secret area of the house by Big Brother.

She was introduced as a notorious a party girl, but last night Charlotte Crosby's Celebrity Big Brother housemates were left wondering whether her drunken display was all just an act.
The Geordie Shore lass had to be carried by Mario Falcone and Sophie Anderton to her bed, which she then repeatedly fell out of, smacking her head on various fixtures and giggling like a loon the whole time.
Loose Women star Carol McGiffin, however, was not convinced, telling the group: "She's used to having to fake.
"When she's on Geordie Shore she really has to do that, otherwise her life is just a hideous merry-go-round of staying up and going out.
"She's admitted in here that everybody wants her to go out and get drunk every night and she doesn't want to, so she has to fake passing out. She's doing it now, she's lying. She's a fake, she's a fake.

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Vicky Entwistle has spoken about her drunken behaviour on last night's show (August 26).
The former Coronation Street actress reacted negatively to Louie Spence's choice to nominate her for eviction this week.
Speaking to Vicky in the bathroom, Louie said: "Are you feeling like s**t Vicky or not? You made a bit of a tw*t of yourself. I wasn't sure if it was a task you had been given."
Vicky replied: "What, to get leathered?"
Louie joked: "To come in and just be that loud and do really bad stage whispers."
Later, Vicky spoke regretfully of the previous night's actions when talking to Big Brother in the Diary Room.
She said: "When you get leathered you just get a bit stupid. But I still was a bit hurt 'cos I thought well, he doesn't even know us, if you nominate because someone gets on your nerves,...

What are your thoughts on this year's batch of celebs? Has the show had its day? Is it the best lineup yet?...

The former soccer manager received a stern warning from Big Brother after making an inflammatory comment as fellow housemate Danielle Marr draped a sweater over her head - akin to headscarves worn by Muslim women. The 74-year-old contestant quipped: ''You're not carrying a bomb with you, are you?'' Ron - who has managed the likes of Manchester United and Aston Villa - was taken into the Diary Room and cautioned by Big Brother for the offensive remark. A show spokesperson said: ''Ron made an unacceptable comment. He has received...

Emma Willis introduced us to our new group of Celebrity Big Brother housemates tonight (August 22).
Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond, Towie's Mario Falcone and former football manager Ron Atkinson are among the latest batch of stars who must live together for our viewing pleasure.
Coronation Street actress Vicky Entwistle and former child star Lauren Harries have thrown us a couple of surprises, while there's the usual shouts of 'Who?' in the direction of Danielle Marr and Courtney Stodden, for some of us at least.

Louie Spence was the first housemate to enter. The dancer, who found fame on Pineapple Dance Studios, said that he loves causing controversy and people don't always like what he has to say.
Joining him was former child prodigy Lauren Harries. She first found fame talking about antiques on TV with Terry Wogan. Having previously offered fashion advice on Big Brother's Bit on the Side, she promises to bring 'sex appeal' into the house.
Reality show regular and former wild child Sophie Anderton became the third to join. At the height of her career, she was earning £30,000 a week which led to a party lifestyle. Clean from drugs since 2009, she has become a self-confessed homebody and claims to be constantly cleaning.

We've had our hopes dashed before (Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Dog the Bounty Hunter), but from all the rumours we've heard about this year's Celebrity Big Brother lineup, we're fairly certain that this summer's series is going to be an absolute corker.
The list of possible housemates is growing every day, but even if just a handful of them are true, we should be in store for a vintage series.
Of course, bagging the guy who played Screech from Saved by the Bell is hardly A-list, but we can't be the only ones intrigued about the possibility of finding out what the hell happened to Dustin Diamond. He famously hit rock bottom after Saved finished, even resorting to releasing his own porn movie.
Other names tipped to be taking part include Us trash-bag Courtney Stodden (The new Speidi?), the always-restrained Louie Spence, disgraced football pundit 'Big' Ron Atkinson (well, he's...
