Keith Nale, a contestant on two seasons of “Survivor,” has died at the age of 62 following a brief battle with cancer.
“He passed away this afternoon,” Nale’s son Wes told Et Online on Tuesday. “He’d been battling cancer for the past few months and we found out about it in January.”
“A life taken way too soon,” Nale’s brother Kevin added in a statement to the outlet. “It happened so quickly. Cancer ate him up. He passed this afternoon at his home in Shreveport, Louisiana.”
Keith and Wes, 32, competed on “Survivor: San Juan del Sur” in 2014 as father-son contestants. Keith later returned to the franchise for “Survivor: Cambodia” in 2015. He went on to the final four on “San Juan del Sur” and the final five on “Cambodia.”

Jack Nicholson’s fans are defending him on social media after the first sighting of the actor in 18 months.
In January, there had been reports that Nicholson’s friends were concerned for the actor’s wellbeing after he wasn’t seen in public for more than a year.
On Thursday (13 April), unflattering pictures of Nicholson, 85, were published in a British tabloid, showing him wearing an orange T-shirt and looking sleepy on the balcony of his Beverly Hills home.
“When you’re Jack Nicholson, 85, you can look however the f*** you want to look,” one fan tweeted.
“He’s 85. Why not leave Jack Nicholson alone?” added another.
A third posted: “Leave Jack Nicholson alone. He’s 85.”
“I looked like this when I woke up this morning… I’m 37,” wrote a fourth, while a fifth added: “Jack Nicholson is still alive. He’s 85. I identify with this look. This look is my spirit animal.

When I first played through the album I was very unsure of it. However after multiple playthroughs it is slightly growing on me…
#3 was released on September 10th this year and is oddly enough The Script’s third album. You might recognise Danny O’Donoghue from his recent appearances as a judge on UK TV show ‘The Voice’. One of his judging partners, Will.I.Am (for the purposes of this review shall now be called William) also features in a duet on the album’s lead single ‘Hall of Fame’. Unlike their first two albums, ‘The Script’ and ‘Science & Faith’, #3 hasn’t reached number 1 in the UK album charts (at the time of writing this, it was sitting at number 3 behind the Killers and Pink). Yet strangely enough Hall of Fame is so far their only UK no. 1 single as ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved...

The Script is one of those bands that you instantly fall in love with. They have a natural charisma about them and they make you feel like part of the band. These Irish dudes — Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power all have one thing in common…they are utterly grateful for everything they’ve got, where they’ve finally arrived and where they are headed. The band invited Fox All Access host, Chris Leary, down to a pub on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles to catch up. The crazy thing about the location is it brings back a lot of fond memories for lead singer Danny O’Donoghue. He distinctly remembers walking the Sunst Strip a few years back in his good old days of “starving artist.” He told us he will never forget the day when he borrowed a friend’s fake Rolex watch just to impress...

Rockers The Script have been left touched by one fan's remarkable love story after he wowed U.S. TV viewers on "American Idol" on Wednesday, January 26 night. Wannabe Chris Medina, 27, performed the band's "Breakeven" at his audition for the show in Wisconsin, which was taped last year - and his back story broke hearts across America.
Medina has become a carer for his fiancee who was left severely brain damaged following a car crash just months before she was to wed the singer. The hopeful brought his wheelchair-bound girlfriend, Juliana Ramos, to the audition and she got the chance to meet judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

It was one of the most touching audition moments in "American Idol" early-round history. The final slot of tryout shows is often saved for inspirational tales that serve as an uplifting close to that night's episode (unless they're not, in which case we see the goofiest of goofballs).
During Wednesday night's episode, which chronicled the judges' second day in Milwaukee, we met 26-year-old musician Chris Medina, whose tragic tale nearly brought the panelists — and likely many viewers — to tears. Two years ago, Medina proposed to his girlfriend of eight years, Juliana Ramos. A short time later, however, she was in a car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury and in a coma from which doctors didn't think she'd wake from.

Astute "American Idol" observers may have noticed an interesting story arc on Wednesday night's two-hour audition episode. Though it was not commented on during the show, the tryouts in Milwaukee had a dramatic subplot that united an aspiring "Idol" and a former top finisher through their mutual grief over personal tragedies.
When bespectacled church crooner Danny Gokey sang his way into the top three on season eight of "Idol," the heartbreaking story of his young wife's death from a congenital heart disease just weeks before his audition for the show was a frequently discussed part of his "Idol" biography.

Glen Power is happy he has made no definite plans for New Year's Eve on December 31. The Script drummer and his bandmates Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan have been given three weeks off over the festive period as a reward for constantly touring throughout 2010 and Glen is relishing the thought of being able to do whatever he wants.
"I'll still be at home in Dublin for New Year's but I actually have no plans at all," he told Bang Showbiz. "Our whole lives are diaries and schedules so it's nice to have nothing planned."
However, Glen admits the "Nothing" hitmakers can get restless when they are back in Ireland and are usually raring to get back on the road after a short break.
Glen, who will undertake an arena tour of the U.K. and Ireland with his bandmates next year, said, "After a week at home, I'll be itching to get out on tour.

Glen Power can't wait to spend Christmas in Dublin. The Script drummer revealed he has been so busy touring with band mates, Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan, this year that he is counting down the days until he can go home to Ireland and not need to leave the house for anything.
"We get three weeks off for Christmas this year because we've been so busy touring," he said. "I'm going home to Dublin and I'm not going near an airport for those three weeks."
Although he is looking forward to catching up with family and friends, Glen already knows the first place he will go when he gets off the plane, his favorite pub in the city to enjoy a typically Irish drink. He told Bang Showbiz, "I just want to sit in the heart of Dublin and have a pint of Guinness in Keogh's in Grafton Street -...

The Script are happiest when they are performing. The "Nothing" group, who have just returned to Ireland following a successful U.S. tour, said they don't care whether they are playing a small gig or an arena show, they forget their troubles when they go on-stage and turn into "The Script performance machine".
"As a band we're at our happiest when we're playing live on stage," drummer Glen Power exclusively told Bang Showbiz. "The minute we walk on, anything that's going on gets left at the side of the stage."
"We put the same show on every time we go on stage so it doesn't matter if it's a small venue or an arena tour. Put two people in front of us and we'll turn into The Script performance machine. When the pressure's on we get it done."

"Science & Faith" has already earned The Script another #1 album in their native Ireland and the UK, but the follow-up to their platinum-selling self-titled debut won't arrive on U.S. territory until January.
"Science & Faith" is the follow-up to 2008's "The Script," which earned the band the hit singles "Breakeven," "We Cry," and "The Man Who Can't Be Moved." The album is set to hit stores on January 18th.
With "Breakeven" finally losing some steam at radio after a year of solid airplay (and peaking just outside the top 10 at #12), the band is releasing their new single "For the First Time" to iTunes for the first time this week.
"For the First Time" just recently hit U.S. radio, where it's already moving up the adult contemporary charts. "For the First Time," written by frontman Danny O'Donoghue and guitarist Mark Sheehan, is already a #1 hit in Ireland and went top 5 in...

The Script have revealed that a song they wrote for Leona Lewis was judged as being "too dark". The band, who last month scored their second number one album, revealed that in 2008 they planned to write a track for Lewis's second album Echo. However, Mark Sheehan told MSN that they had submitted the song too late to be used. "We penned the song that we really liked and put it to her but we missed the mark on when she was actually releasing the record," he (more)...

The Script find comparisons with fellow Irish band U2 "humbling". The "Breakeven" hitmakers, whose self-titled debut LP achieved huge success in the U.K. and U.S., are flattered by comparisons with the iconic group, but insist there are few similarities between them.
"As humbling as it is, how can anybody say that? The fact that we are Irish and carry instruments is the reason why we are compared with U2," guitarist Mark Sheehan said. "I guess you could say we are the biggest band in Ireland to sell records generally since The Corrs or The Cranberries."
The rocker also revealed new album "Science & Faith", which is due for release in September, isn't of a political or religious nature as its title would suggest, and instead, is more of a "continuation" of the band's previous work. Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post newspaper, Mark explained, "The two subjects we tend...

Irish rockers The Script were inspired to write new music about the effects of the global economic crisis because their childhood pals couldn't afford to celebrate the group's success after losing their jobs. The Dublin-born band shot to fame with their eponymous debut album in 2008 - at the height of the worldwide recession.
And the trio was shocked when they returned to their homeland to party with pals, only to find the country had been especially hard hit by the downturn. Bassist Mark Sheehan tells Britain's Daily Star, "We had all this success and went back thinking we wanted to celebrate with all of our mates, who told us to 'get a f**king real job'."
"Dublin was hit really, really hard and it seemed to stun every one a bit. We couldn't share our experiences as our friends had lost their jobs. It inspired a song about how we...
