Food Network is about to ring the start bell on season 2 of Superchef Grudge Match.
The Darnell Ferguson-hosted series will return Dec. 26 with a new batch of all-star competitions to settle some of the biggest personal and professional feuds in the culinary world. In each episode, Ferguson stages two different battles between chefs who have beefs with each other to finally bury the hatchet and win $10,000 cash, a prized knife from the losing chef and lifelong bragging rights over their food foe.
“The grudges are bigger and badder this season. When these chefs collide, the culinary action is intense and the trash-talk is biting,” said Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery. “Darnell’s energy and bold personality make him the ideal host to settle these scores.”

Not long after the introduction of the reality and competition program Emmy categories in the early 2000s, the TV academy decided to begin honoring the work of those shows’ presenters by establishing the Best Reality/Competition Host category in 2008. Over the years, the nominees here have hailed from game and talent shows of all kinds, including those structured around dancing, singing, fashion, and food.
Included on the 2022 ballot list below is reigning champion RuPaul of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” who has triumphed on all six of his consecutive bids for the VH1 series. Others seeking repeat victories include Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum (“Making the Cut;” formerly of “Project Runway”), Jane Lynch (“Weakest Link;” formerly of “Hollywood Game Night”), and Jeff Probst (“Survivor”).
Voting for nominations in this category is not open to the entire academy membership, but rather restricted to members of eight peer groups: casting directors, daytime programming, performers,...

The Jeff Mauro-hosted Food Network cooking competition series “Kitchen Crash” will be back with a second season, comprising four episodes, beginning July 12 at 10 p.m. Et/Pt.
“Kitchen Crash” will see the former “Sandwich King” host return to “crash” a local neighborhood block party in a chosen suburb, with three professional chefs in tow surprising attendees with an outdoor cookoff. In each hour-long episode, the culinary experts have only 10 minutes to convince residents to hand over food from their fridge and pantry — enough to fill one bin — as ingredients to use in the competition. The chef who prevails will earn a cash prize of 10,000 to split with the family who provided the ingredients.
“No two pantries or fridges in America are alike, making the ingredients in the bins as varied as they can possibly be,” Mauro said in a statement. “The chefs must be able to communicate effectively with...

The next episode of Fast Foodies will feature NBA All-Star Baron Davis, and he'll arrive on the show with an eight-legged friend!
"In the eighth episode premiering Thursday, March 24, at 10 pm, former Davis scores big points with our chefs by talking hoops, fast-food and chicken feet," according to the description.
"No butts about it, you'll want to stick around to the very end for the grossest consequence in Fast Foodies history."
truTV shared an exclusive look at the episode with TV Fanatic, and it perfectly highlights how fun the series is.
Baron arrives on the show with his favorite fast food. We're not going to tell you because you should watch the clip first.
There's a tarantula thrown in for good measure, and there are many questions about whether the eight-legged friend is real or fake.
