Entrepreneur Tony Robbins, a bestselling author, philanthropist and the world’s #1 life and business strategist, together with Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States, today announced that they are closer than ever to their multi-year goal of helping provide 1 billion meals to people experiencing food insecurity.
Eight years into the 10-year campaign, Robbins and Feeding America, through their 1 Billion Meals Challenge, are well ahead of schedule having already helped provide 914 million meals to people facing hunger across the United States.
Despite this amazing achievement, so much more is required to combat hunger and support the food banks and relief organizations filling the basic, life sustaining need of providing meals for families.
In the United States alone, nearly 34 million people, including more than 9 million children, are food insecure. Access to regular, nutritious meals is growing increasingly difficult with food prices near-record highs and higher fuel and commodity costs continuing to rise,...

When I started at Feeding America in October 2018, I was honored and humbled to join an organization with which I had been familiar since I was a little girl. I came to the table with my own experiences, including my years at Walmart, and I recognized that the people we serve needed to be at that same table. We have a bold aspiration that every community and each person within it has access to the food and resources that they say they desire and need to thrive. We want to see the total food insecurity rate reduced to 5 percent by 2030 and reduce food insecurity disparities based on race and place by half, and we can’t possibly do this without our neighbors with lived experience at the table, elevating their voices and letting us know how we can help.

Entrepreneur Tony Robbins, a bestselling author, philanthropist and the world’s #1 life and business strategist, together with Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States, today announced that their multi-year joint campaign to combat food insecurity in America has surpassed a key milestone, but more effort must be made post-pandemic to adequately address the increased need for food assistance.
In its first seven years, Robbins and Feeding America, through their 1 Billion Meals Challenge campaign, have funded and helped provide nearly 800 million meals to people in need in the United States. Reaching this key milestone means that the long-term partnership to combat hunger is well on pace to realize its goal of helping to secure 1 billion meals by December 31, 2024.
