Tristan Olav Torgersen was born in Bakersfield, CA. The Torgersen family moved to Clemmons, NC in 2006. Once there, he attended West Forsyth High School and graduated in 2010. He attended Brigham Young University in 2010 and graduated in 2017 with a BA in History. From 2012 to 2014, he served a full-time volunteer mission in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. In 2017 Tristan joined the staff of Indie Entertainment Magazine, providing film coverage, music reviews, festival coverage, and interviews. At the completion of that internship, he started InQua Magazine, a new online venture covering entertainment focused on millennial readers. He owns and manages InQua Magazine and has a small team of writers and photographers.
After moving to Los Angeles in March 2018, Tristan accepted an internship with Sea Sand Entertainment in June of that same year. Marvin Glover is the CEO of Sea Sand Entertainment and a graduate of the USC Film Program. Sea Sand Entertainment produced 2018's 'Turnover,' with Tristan in a production assistant role.
In addition to production roles, Tristan is working on various scripts, treatments, and acting.
