"Finally, upon meeting Sven Haabeth, Janet found an individual who is filled with deep, marrowy love of his country, his language, and heritage as well as a great, expansive desire to share this with English-speakers. Being an intensely insightful intellectual as well as a technically proficient actor, Sven is the one for the job.
Not only does Sven have all of the basic technical abilities such having a good voice and being connected to his body, but he has all of the political and idealistic intentionality that characterizes Ibsen's work. Passionately patriotic, he has been active in politics and oratory in Norway making headlines for his game-changing speeches. He is also a philosopher who has worked to bridge the gap between theory and practice through the creation of his applied philosophy program in psych departments." Janet Bentley, Dramaturg, Ibsen specialist, Director and Producer
Shout out to Kristen, Birgit and Nina, Akia Squitieri and Jerrod Bogard.
