Extract and Office Space director Mike Judge isn't sure what his next directing project will be, but he told ComingSoon that he'd like to develop an idea he has for a comedy starring Chris Elliot.
[H]e moves to India to do a Bollywood movie and ends up working tech support. I'm a big Chris Elliot fan. Hollywood always tends to just think young, but when I was 17, Rodney Dangerfield was all the rage and he was pushing 50. Caddyshack was just like, we couldn't get enough ... I think there's people around like that, like Chris Elliot, that are just plain funny. He could read the phonebook and it's funny.
Judge has also been working on the script for a comedy entitled Trophy Husbands about college graduates who coach a youth football league.

Any time you have a sequel, you're inevitably going to compare it to the original. So when How I Met Your Mother aired this week's sequel to the fantastic season three "Slapsgiving," they must have known what fans across he nation were thinking.
As far as regular episodes go, "Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap" was a great one. It focused on Lily and her past, which is rare for the show. It even gave Marshall yet another chance to show his sensitive side. However, we can't help but say it fell a little short compared to the original.
Now some quick notes from the episode:
I never get sick of slap puns. Slapple, Slapsolutely, Eric Slapton, Slape diem, Slapprentice. I'm sure I missed plenty but you can find them in our How I Met Your Mother quotes section. How great were Mickey's board games? Tijuana Slumlord, Car Battery, Dog Fight Promoter,...

The How I Met Your Mother guest-starring list continues to grow.
Amanda Peet will appear on a January episode of the sitcom. The actress was recently seen in the movie 2012 and last starred on the small screen in the short-lived series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
No details have been released on Peet's character.
She's one of a number of big names set to appear on the sitcom, as Chris Elliot will appear on this week's episode; and Rachel Bilson, Tim Gunn and Stacy Keibler are slated for the 100th installment in January.

Neil Patrick Harris' dream comes true quite fast as it is announced that Amanda Peet will indeed guest star on "How I Met Your Mother". There is no clue yet what kind of role Peet will play but TV Guide said her cameo will be in a January episode.
On Thursday, November 19, Harris who plays Barney in the sitcom said that he has Peet in mind for a guest star. "You know, she's never guest-starred on any shows before and plus, she's already worked with Jason Segel once on 'Gulliver's Travels'," he told E! Online. Segel is Marshall in "Himym".
Peet is not the only guest star coming to the show this season. This Monday, November 23, Chris Elliot from "Everybody Loves Raymond" is playing Lily's estranged father who comes for family Thanksgiving dinner. Then there will be Rachel Bilson, Tim Gunn and Stacy Keibler in the 100th...

We know on Monday's episode, "Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap," two things are for sure:
Chris Elliot will be guest starring as Lily's estranged father, Mickey. There will be at least one slap of Marshall's remaining slaps against Barney.
However, executive producer Carter Bays is still keeping his mouth mum about the exact details of the slap. He says, "There’s a little bit of a twist on the slap this year. The Slap Bet commissioner makes an interesting ruling that I can’t reveal."
We will give you a hint. Marshall gives away his slap and it will be used by one of the other How I Met Your Mother cast members... or Lily's father. Watch their potential slaps in action:...

Back in season two of How I Met Your Mother, Marshall was awarded five slaps against Barney, courtesy the official Slap Bet Commissioner, Lily.
Now, in season five of the sitcom, Marshall still has two slaps remaining. How will he dole them out?
In Himym tradition, these will occur in the upcoming Thanksgiving - err, Slapsgiving - episode that airs in just two weeks. The episode will be cleverly titled "Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap."
The fun twist on the remaining slaps? Marshall will actually be handing the rights to slap Barney over to Ted and Robin. We wan't wait to see how they use them!
Slapsgiving 2 will also mark the episode where Chris Elliot guest stars as Lily's estranged father. Check out the following episode stills that feature Elliott and the rest of the cast:...
