Robert Emmett Young was born September 2, 1951 at Lakehurst NAS, New
Jersey. He grew up in Inkster, Michigan and Harsen's Island, Michigan
and currently resides in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
He served three years in the Army(1971-1974), 26 months of which were
in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and four years in the Coast Guard
(1974-1978), spending 36 months in Kodiak, Alaska.
He has over 30 years of stage experience and has been working in films
since 1997.
Attended Algonac High School, Algonac, Michigan and Robichaud High
School, Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
Served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Assigned to the 8th Signal
Battalion, 8th Infantry Division, Bad Kreuznach, Germany from 1971 to
1974. Airborne qualified.
Served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years. Stationed at the USCG Air
Station, Kodiak, Alaska from 1975 to 1978.
