It took more than eighteen years for writer/director Nick Cassavetes to manage to get an adaptation of the Boston Teran novel God Is a Bullet (pick up a copy Here) into production, but he stuck with the project, and his film received a wide theatrical release last month. A week ago, it was given a digital release as well – but now it has come to our attention that there are two different cuts of the movie out there. If you seek out the digital version in the United States, you’ll find that the cut available is the full 156 minute cut. But if you go to rent or purchase the digital release in Canada, you’ll find that the movie has been trimmed down to 120 minutes.
We don’t know exactly why the Canadian digital release is 36 minutes shorter than the U.S. digital release. On the Blu-ray.com forums,...

God is a Bullet offers an “unrelenting gauntlet of violence,” and an Nsfw new exclusive clip provided to Bloody Disgusting highlights just how gnarly this revenge thriller can get.
After last month’s theatrical release, God is a Bullet is now available on Digital and VOD.
Check out the exclusive clip below that sees Maika Monroe’s character take no prisoners when chasing down a lead, demonstrating how badly a human body can get mangled. If legs bending in ways they should never bend makes you squeamish, beware.
The film follows “detective Bob Hightower (Coster-Waldau), who finds his ex-wife murdered and his daughter kidnapped by an insidious cult. With the help of the cult’s only female victim escapee, Case Hardin (Monroe), Bob and Case go down the rabbit hole with The Ferryman (Jamie Foxx) to save his daughter and find closure for Case from the cult – and its maniacal...

I just wanted to give you a heads up that Tom Cruise's new sci-fi film All You Need is Kill has been re-titled Edge of Tomorrow, and a badass new poster has been released for it!
Personally I think All You Need is Kill is a much better title. Edge of Tomorrow sounds like a basic, boring movie title for a film I wouldn't be interested in seeing. It also sounds like a film Roland Emmerich would direct.
Warner Bros. has announced that they are officially bringing the movie to Comic-Con, and they will give fans a look at the first footage from the Doug Liman-directed film. I can't wait to see it! Especially after seeing this poster. Here is the press release with all of the details:

On the eve of his movie comeback, can Mel Gibson finally tame his demons?
It was a balmy spring evening in Cannes. Arriving for the premiere of his latest film, The Beaver, Mel Gibson seemed anxious as he walked the red carpet last month, a little uncomfortable posing for the massed ranks of photographers who were shouting his name. When the movie's director, Jodie Foster, leaned across to adjust his bow-tie, Gibson smiled, right on cue. But while the two of them chatted and laughed for the cameras, the actor's brow remained furrowed. The next day's photographs would all show the three deep wrinkles cut horizontally across his tanned forehead, giving him the air of someone who expects disappointment and – more often than not – is rewarded with it.
He was understandably worried, perhaps, about how the film would be received. The Beaver, in which the 55-year-old Gibson plays a depressed...
