“When it rains, it feels like it’s pouring.”
This Is Us didn’t mess around in its fall finale, wrapping up the first half of its sophomore season with a whopper of a reveal at the end of the final installment of the Big Three trilogy. Titled “Number Three,” Tuesday’s episode explored Randall’s story in the past (Jack and Randall visit Howard University in Washington, D.C.) and the present (Beth and Randall agree to keep fostering after saying goodbye to Deja, with a hint at their next addition: an adorable, nameless young boy). But the biggest surprise came at the very end -- and it had nothing to do with Randall.

Sylvester Stallone may have just ruined Kevin's life on This Is Us. The appearance of the superstar wasn't just a bit of stunt casting on This Is Us' part, a show that has already seen Seth Meyers and Ron Howard appear. It also reopened the barely closed wound of Jack's death for Kevin. Kevin was forced to think about his father and also aggravated the leg injury that plagued him during Jack's demise. All of this led to a ominous shot of Kevin popping a painkiller while Kate (off-screen) compared her brother to her dad. This implied that Kevin will have (or already does) have a substance abuse problem.

Kevin (Probably) Saves the World star Jason Ritter has a superpower — but it has nothing to do with ensuring humanity’s survival.
In ABC’s high-concept fantasy dramedy (premiering Tuesday at 10/9c), Ritter’s titular self-centered hero willingly admits that he’s not a good person. He wasn’t there for his sister Amy (Once Upon a Time‘s JoAnna Garcia Swisher) and niece Reese (Liv and Maddie‘s Chloe East) after his brother-in-law’s death, and he rates “money, naps, girls, sushi [and] muscles” above his newly discovered higher calling. This past Thursday night, September 7,2017, previously evicted, very outspoken Big Brother season 19 houseguest Jessica Graf hopped on Instagram Live to chat with her fans. She revealed what she thought about the big Double Eviction show. She also talked about some of the houseguests some more. She revealed that she actually wants her arch nemesis Josh Martinez to make it to the final two with Paul! If that’s not enough, she said she actually owes him an apology. To start off the chat, she talked about Josh outing Paul to Jason in his goodbye speech. She said, “Josh literally was very smart in the sense that he let Paul yell at him in the house and he played the facade in the house that Paul is still controlling him. But, for him to drop that bomb on Jason and now Jason’s going into the jury house. And he’s...

Alright, so the Big Brother season 19 houseguests finally competed for the new Hoh a couple of hours after last night’s big September 7,2017 Double Eviction episode which finally sent Jason and Raven out the door and on their way to the jury house. Alex won the Double Eviction Hoh which rescued her from a Double Eviction outing. But, she’s still very much in trouble because neither Paul, Josh and Christmas are on her side. And Kevin definitely isn’t with her after all the crap she’s done to him. What’s worse is Alex is still in the dark when it comes to Paul. She still thinks he’s working with her. She even called him her new ride or die! With all that said, Josh pulled out the Hoh win. So, he is our new Hoh for this week. This will of course keep Paul in the...

Alright guys. So, the Big Brother season 19 houseguests finally competed for this week’s Power Of Veto in the late evening hours yesterday, September 2,2017. Everyone got to play. Apparently, Bobby is a Big Brother fan too. Anyways, when everything was all said and done, it was Paul that emerged the winner of the coveted Power Of Veto this week. So, Paul is your winner once again. According to Big Brother Network, Paul has been plotting to try and save Alex so he can stay in good graces with her. A surprising turn of events happened. Josh actually started to catch on to what Paul’s been doing. He told Christmas about it on the live feeds yesterday.

Alright guys. So, last night, August 31,2017, the Big Brother season 19 houseguests finally competed for the next Hoh after evicting Matt over Raven during the Live eviction show. There was a rain delay that prohibited them from doing the comp during the Live show. According to Big Brother Network, the Hoh competition was a physical sprint challenge. During it, the houseguests we required to hold a button until the screen displayed “Go.” If any of them made a false start, they were automatically eliminated from the comp. They say Paul had a plan going into this comp that entailed convincing Alex, Raven and Kevin to throw the comp to Josh or Christmas. They didn’t show this comp on the live feeds. The live feeds actually came back on about 90 minutes after the Live show ended. Apparently, Christmas pulled out the victory in this one even with a broken foot. We...

Jason made the joke, saying it would be a consequence of Kevin breaking their alliance. [Editor’s note: The following review contains spoilers for the “The Leftovers” Season 3, Episode 3, “Crazy Whitefella Thinking.”]
Immediate Reaction:
Last week, we watched Nora (in a phenomenal performance from Carrie Coon) refuse to acknowledge any kind of sign. This week, we watched Kevin Sr. (via an incredible performance from Scott Glenn) see signs everywhere. The last two episodes of “The Leftovers” have turned the spotlight on two unbelievable talents, but they’ve also dealt with extraordinary faith on each end of the spectrum: unflinching disbelief and resolute ideology.
And guess what? Neither Nora or Senior are Ok.
Senior, convinced God has sent him on a mission to save the world, nearly died in the Australian desert — like a modern day Jesus in the wilderness. He even laid down on a cross, further emphasizing his conviction that he, not his son, is the focus of this story. Yes, it looks like we're about to head into another heartbreaker with This Is Us Season 1 Episode 9, "The Trip."
Here's the official synopsis:
Kate, Kevin and Randall head to their family's cabin to get away after their chaotic family Thanksgiving. A very angry Randall finds comfort and explanation from his father, Jack.
Olivia speaks a harsh truth to Kate, which drives a wedge between Kate and Kevin. Rebecca and Jack struggle with what to do when 9-year-old Randall tells them that he's been looking for his birth parents.
We've been wondering whether or not Jack was on board with the way Rebecca handled the situation with Randall's birth father, William. Did he even know?
From the preview, it seems he might not have known, and if he did, the situation might have been handled much differently.

A few thoughts on tonight's This Is Us - the first new show of the fall to get a full season order (albeit to 18 episodes) - coming up just as soon as my vice is asthma and yours is cocaine... As I said last week, a lot of the power of the This Is Us premiere came from the twist at the end, though it's the rare twisty drama pilot that played more effectively for me on second viewing than first. As a result, I really wanted to see some additional episodes to get a sense not only of how the show intended to function on a weekly basis, but whether the emotions would still be there once I knew going in what all the relationships were. Fortunately, both "The Big Three" and next week's episode(*) suggest not only a sturdy framework for a family drama, but satisfyingly hit various...

If you ask comic book fans to list ten of the best comic book writers that ever existed, odds are good that Watchmen writer Alan Moore would fall somewhere on that list. Yes, the man has proven to be something of a recluse and embittered artist-type, but there’s no denying he knows his way around a keyboard.
Apart from Watchmen, Moore is also well known for such books as Batman: The Killing Joke, and V for Vendetta.
He’s definitely made his mark on the medium of comic books, but now, based on an interview he had with The Guardian while promoting his new novel, Jerusalem (a new 1,200+ page book set to hit shelves later this month), it sounds like he’s ready to move one from comics.
“[I have] about 250 pages of comics left in me,” he said.

Alan Moore has a few projects he has to finish up, and then he's done with comics. The Guardian writes the comic book icon announced his retirement at a press event in London.
"...There are a couple of issues of an Avatar [Press] book that I am doing at the moment, part of the Hp Lovecraft work I’ve been working on recently. Me and Kevin will be finishingCinema Purgatorio and we’ve got about one more book, a final book of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen to complete. After that, although I may do the odd little comics piece at some point in the future, I am pretty much done with comics.”
Moore says the decision comes from the fact that he has become complacent in the genre and wants to move onto other mediums.
“So, the things that interest me at the moment are the things I don’t know if I can do,...

Moore says the decision comes from the fact that he has become complacent in the genre and wants to move onto other mediums.
“So, the things that interest me at the moment are the things I don’t know if I can do,...

Will Rachel manage to get Jessica to help her find a way to save Leonard Bailey?
That's a huge question after Suits Season 6 Episode 6, but that isn't the only big topic we have have to discuss.
Below, TV Fanatics Allison Nichols, Christine Hinton, Jasmine Blu and Stacy Glanzman discuss Leonard's fate, Kevin's past and Louis getting his girl.
What did you think of Kevin's reveal?
Allison: I liked the reveal a lot. It helped explain why Kevin hadn't turned on his father in law. Kevin may hate his father-in-law, but he would never do anything that would take his kids away from their mother.
Christine: It’s a good twist and made me, and Mike, feel empathy towards Kevin. Now Mike has to realize that if he somehow gets what he needs on the father-in-law, he may very well be sending the mother of two kids to prison too. I...

On this episode of Suits, "Trust," in order to help Mike, Harvey has to take on two clients he swore he'd never represent, Rachel runs into a snag with the Leonard Bailey case and Mike struggles to gain Kevin's trust.
The world of white-collar criminals is a small one because the guy Cahill wants Mike to help nab is William Sutter, the scumbag that Harvey refused to represent just days earlier. Harvey is worried that if Kevin finds out that his father-in-law came to see Harvey, and Harvey told him to drop dead, Kevin will never trust Mike.

Tight knit as it is, the Detroit techno scene is not without its controversies. We provided a brief history of the genre to supplement our recent coverage of Movement 2016, but even we admittedly left out one of its most outspoken early figures: Eddie Fowlkes.
Fowlkes released music shortly before any of the Belleville Three, the trio comprised of Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson whom are widely credited as the originators of Detroit techno. As he told us in an interview during Detroit Techno Week, he wishes to not be associated with the Belleville Three and believes that it was devised by May as a means of keeping him and other early techno pioneers from receiving proper credit.
Fowlkes’ resentment towards May is nothing new. We asked May about it as a side note when we met up with him on the same day, and he told us the...

However, we weren.t the only one who saw that video. One of the villainous Wet Bandits has also seen what Kevin is doing to criminals these days and he.s in fear for his life. Check out the cry for help below. So apparently the entire Home Alone was an emotionally, and for some physically, scarring experience. Daniel Stern, in his role as Marv the Wet Bandit, is hiding in his house in the dark afraid that the obviously psycho Kevin will be coming to get him. He.s using YouTube...

On last night's Mad Men, Joan reluctantly admitted to her new suitor Richard that she's a mom. He balked initially, but came crawling back, flowers in hand (and ascot on neck), begging for a second chance, which she seemed likely to give him. It was all pretty charming, really. But Joan also admitted to Richard that she's been divorced twice, something the show has only mentioned in passing once before. We know Joan is divorced from her rapist Greg, and she's said that other men have proposed to her, but it isn't until season six's "To Have and to Hold" that we find out Joan was married before Greg. To someone named Scotty, apparently."The worst six months of her life" is really saying something — Joan has had a not hugely pleasant life. But now she's rich! Maybe things will work out with this new dude! And maybe little Kevin will...

Nashville will be making GLAAD happy, as they announced they will have an opening gay character coming up. It is their attempt to match the more recent times of the first ever openly gay country singer who came out last year. They hired Broadway star Kyle Dean Massey to play their character, Kevin Bicks. Kevin will be a successful star who happens to let the world know who his loves openly. No word yet on when we can expect for his character to pop in or how they will introduce him.
It will be interesting to see how the country music scene will react. Nashville has always painted the music scene more dramatic than it is and this could be another example of that. Hopefully their team can clear some of this up as I am thinking we may see a backlash with this choice of a new character.
