- His off-white T-shirt and jeans he always wears, his long, dark brown hair, and his microphone, with cord
- Wristwatch on left wrist he always wears
- Partying-themed songs
- First album, I Get Wet (2002). The cover caused problems with censors because the cover shows W.K. with a badly bloodied nose and the blood oozing down his mouth, chin, and neck. As a result, a black sticker was put on the CD shrink wraps to cover the bloody area.
- Took classical piano when he was younger before switching to drums during his teen years
- Caused some problems with censors with his second album's working title, Blow Your Bone. The censors thought it was a sex-orientated title, but he claimed it meant blowing up chicken bones with explosives and that the title doesn't hint at anything sexual. The title may be changed before its release.
- Met his wife Cherie through their heavy metal voice teacher.
- Broke his right foot during a November 23, 2003 concert in Los Angeles, but continued to play concerts in a wheelchair.
- [on 'conspiracy theories', including charges that he has allowed other performers to stand in for him] You know, the whole problem with a lot of this stuff and the reason been trying - and I've been trying - to deal with it in different ways is that a lot of these things that people have run with were based initially on some kind of truth. And that's what makes them harder to either completely deny or turn away. But it's never been anything - what's the word - 'malevolent'.
- If you can make someone laugh and cry and feel like they can take on the world, ultimately that's the field of entertainment I want to work in. It's the human experience. There's moments for cuddling a small cat and moments for throwing the cat around the room and running around in circles with it.
- It is OK to be happy in life. Even through all the strife, maybe especially during times of great pain and suffering. We still have to be able to stay close to that joy because we can't save the world in a bad mood.
- Your love is the ultimate love that empowers all your efforts, a true love for what is indestructibly and perpetually you.
- If pizza brings you joy, then by all means, love that pizza like your life depends on it. Because it does.
