Sherrie La'Marr Wheeler was born May 9 1956, in Glendora, Mississippi.
She was raised in San Francisco attended college at Pepperdine,
University, Malibu, when she studied Business Administration and
Management. She later moved back to the Alameda County where she
resided in Hayward and worked in Oakland, California.
She gave birth to two daughters, Keeyawna in 1994 and Tateanna in 1995.
she decided in 1999 she wanted to pursue a career in theatre Arts -
Acting. Sherrie, had no previous experience, but wanted to follow her
long life dream and be an example to give her daughters hope. To her
amazement she was cast in her first television series as a Police
Officer on Nash Bridges on CBS. At that moment she knew this was her
new career that she loved it. She began to take a few Acting courses at
UC Berkeley, and she honed her acting skills in low budget independent
films, and worked in major films and television projects. She was
featured in the Prime time Television Series "Family Law" also on CBS.
