Rory started acting at the University of California and had leads in
several stage plays. He produced and directed several "shorts" now lost
to mankind. Moving to Seattle after college, he had a
very successful career as a commercial actor being featured in over a
hundred television and radio commercials including his first union job
dressed only in a fig leaf. After two decades in the real estate
business he got back into entertainment in 1999 by writing and
producing "Lovers Lane," a generally underrated horror film most often
noted as the breakout vehicle for
Anna Faris(Scary Movie 1-4, Just Friends,
Brokeback Mt., House Bunny). Next came "Shredder" in 2001 (released in
2003 by MGM), a snow boarding horror flick that is becoming a "cult"
favorite in ski areas. He now lives in the mountains of Idaho with his
wife and two children.
