Johnny Manziel was killin' it at Spring League practice on Wednesday -- throwing strikes, reading defenses and impressing coaches and teammates ... and TMZ Sports has the video. Manziel's "Team South" was practicing in Austin, Texas for their league opener on Saturday -- and he definitely looked like he belonged out there with some very talented teammates. Among the players on Manziel's team -- Ben Tate, former 2nd round draft pick who played for the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns.

The web went into a frenzy earlier this week when the first look at Ben Affleck in Batman vs Superman debuted. The stark monochrome image didn't give too much away, except for the fact that Affleck appears to have the required chin for the job and he's got one helluva sweet ride.
However, Batfleck's big unveiling did kickstart a Keanu-inspired 'Sad Batman' meme - a set of scenarios with the Dark Knight in various stages of despair. Here are some of the best ones, and if you want more then #SadBatman on Twitter is there to help.

Oh yeah, this is going to be a fun NFL season.
Forget the fact the replacement refs are borderline goofballs and we never know what we’ll get from game to game with these guys, but so far the saying, ‘On any given Sunday’ really holds true. For the second week in a row our top team tastes defeat, and I can’t even give my colleague Dave Gilbert any grief because I would have had the 49ers on top too.
In case you’re new to this series, each week Mr. Gilbert and myself will be taking alternating looks at the top 3 teams in the NFL with our Cream Of The Crop series and the worst 3 teams in our Bottom Of The Barrel series.
As you can see, it’s my turn for the top 3, so here’s a recap on how Dave saw it last week.

Well, it was another exciting week of football. Perhaps the biggest upset was the Arizona Cardinals beating the Patriots, but let’s not forget that the Saints lost again and are sitting at 0-2.
In a continuation of our weekly series, both myself and fellow We Got This Covered writer Lester Wiltfong will be breaking it down to let you know who is the cream of the crop and who finds themselves lingering at the bottom of the barrel.
Last week Lester had the top three teams ranked as follows:
1. New England Patriots
2. Baltimore Ravens
3. San Francisco 49ers
Let me tell you that this time round, only one of those teams makes the top three. Here goes…
1. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are 2-0 and those two victories came against tough teams in Green Bay and Detroit. To beat two Nfc North teams back to back is by no means...

The 2012 NFL Season kicks off this week so it’s the perfect time to put myself out there with some Afc Predictions for the division winners and wildcard teams. I had the chance to fully study every team during preseason, analyze how the rookies will fit in, and dissect all the important off season moves.
I’ll tackle the Afc predictions this time out and hit on the Nfc when we meet again. Dare I say, you can take these predictions to the bank!
Afc North
Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens made the playoffs the last 4 seasons, and won their division last year. They have as good a Head Coach / Gm combo as there is in the NFL. Joe Flacco is just a good enough quarterback to win with, as tailback Ray Rice can do the rest. The offense should be very good in 2012 but this being Baltimore it’s still all about the defense.
