The gauzy sunlit streets of Venice are returning to Netflix on June 2, as the second season of the original series “Flaked” sets its official release date.
“Flaked,” created by Will Arnett and Mark Chappell and developed by Mitch Hurwitz, stars Arnett as Chip, a recovering alcoholic living by the beach in Los Angeles, juggling a complicated personal life with the lies he’s told to stay afloat.

Netflix has, of course, been a real home for Arnett in recent years, with the actor also starring in the original series “BoJack Horseman” and “A Series of Unfortunate Events” (not to mention the Season 4 revival of “Arrested Development”). The “Flaked” Season 1 cast included Ruth Kearney, David Sullivan, Lina Esco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kirstie Alley, Heather Graham, Annabeth Gish, Robert Wisdom, Mark Boone Junior and Elisabeth Röhm.

‘Deidra & Laney Rob a Train’ Is Dual Genre DelightThe high school heist earns the pun “Ocean’s For Teen.”
Contrary to the title, Deidra and Laney rob many trains. They become prolific thieves, mastering and streamlining their illegal profession into the delicate series of events we usually see in heist movies. All while the sisters attend high school. Yes, Deidra & Laney Rob a Train is both a caper film and a high school comedy and for every moment it stumbles at one, it excels at the other.
Put into a desperate living situation after their mother’s (Danielle Nicolet) nervous breakdown-induced incarceration (she liberates a TV from her blue-poloed electronics store job, then this mortal coil), elder sister Deidra (Ashleigh Murray) must care for her younger sister Laney (Rachel Crow) and kid brother Jet (Lance Gray) against forces such as mortgage payments and snooping Cps agents. There’s certainly no accusing Deidra & Laney Rob a Train of being too subtle. It is the kind of film that works in broad strokes, in comically heightened situations that stem, of course, from the decision described in the thuddingly literal title. But the title is a misnomer: Deidra (Ashleigh Murray) and Laney (Rachel Crow) rob many trains, and similar to those locomotives, the film chugs along, never assuming a particularly high or low level of emotion except in one scene shortly before the climax. There is a winning charm to this decision, enhanced by the consistently solid amount of chemistry all of the actors have with each other — especially the two leads — but they are let down by the fairly rote storylines that the characters are pigeonholed into.
This feeling is inexorably present from the beginning. Deidra, a fiercely intelligent and vivacious high school senior, and her shy younger...

A lot happens before the clever opening credits roll on “Deidra & Laney Rob a Train.” Top student Deidra (Ashleigh Murray, soon to be featured in CW’s “Riverdale”) has held firm on the price of the homework she sells to some chump over the phone, wrestled her sister Laney (Rachel Crow), to the ground, and observed her mother Marigold (Danielle Nicolet), tottering under a flatscreen TV outside the “Good Buy” where she works, which she promptly throws to the ground in a fit of rage. Syncing with Liam Lynch’s “United States of Whatever,” each word in the movie’s title get its own freeze-frame visual clue — the last being a toy train.

He might be being semi-courted by West Ham supporting WWE boss Triple H as a possible future star (he isn’t, but why spoil the magic, eh?), but if West Ham genuinely want to offload Geordie striker Andy Carroll this winter window, they’re going to have to be more realistic about their valuation of him.
According to the Mirror, both Newcastle (shock horror) and Sunderland are interested in bringing the big Northerner back home(ish), where his new cornrow hairstyle will presumably go down really well in his local social club. But they’re saying that the Hammers – who need to sell to raise cash and invest in the window themselves – want to make a profit on their £15m record signing to the tune of £18m.
That’s almost £20m for a player who has scored 11 goals in 41 appearances. So presumably Jamie Vardy is worth £700m or something?...

On May 24th 2015 West Ham United announced that they would not be renewing the contract of their manager, Sam Allardyce.
Allardyce himself has stated he felt it was probably the right time for him to go – for both him and the club.
He had four fairly successful seasons at Upton Park, guiding them to promotion from the Championship in his first season and securing strong mid-table finishes in the next three, finishing 10th, 13th and 12th respectively. However, his time at the club has been plagued by criticism over his style of football, with suggestions that the owners, David Gold and David Sullivan, wanted the team to play in a more entertaining, attacking style.
West Ham are also due to move into the Olympic Stadium in August 2016, and it is thought that the owners want a new manager to oversee the club as they move to...

Andy Carroll has suffered yet another injury setback, which is set to keep him out of the West Ham United first team for a long time to come.
The 26-year-old Geordie suffered a knee ligament tear in the 0-0 draw with Southampton on 11 February and is expected to miss the rest of the season as he requires surgery to fix the problem.
Now in his third season with the Hammers, his lack of availability has seen him go from one of the most talented and talked about English strikers around to one of the most expensive and injury prone transfer flops since the turn of the millennium.
His absences from the first team have even prompted co-owner David Sullivan to come out in the press and say that he has regrets over signing the 6ft 4in striker, particularly with the high fee that was payed to...

West Ham have never strangers to the bizarre. Sports media outlets came to a virtual standstill on transfer deadline day eight years ago, when following the 2006 World Cup, Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez - two of the most sought after youngsters in world football, and linked with a host of top clubs – defied everyone to become Hammers. Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal had been sniffing around the duo for the best part of 18 months, so there were jaws on the floor when press photos emerged of the immensely talented pair holding up Hammers jerseys, sandwiching a beaming Alan Pardew, who could hardly believe his luck. (That he decided neither were good enough within a matter of ludicrous months is neither here nor there).

Beleaguered West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is now an unbackable 1/5 to be the next Premier League manager sacked, according to Paddy Power.

The East London outfit are also without a league win since November. They lie in nineteenth place in the English Premier League, a mere point ahead of Sunderland, who had a torrid start to 2013/14.

The letter went on to state:

Relegation-threatened West Ham United want to make two January signings now the transfer window is open to turn their season around. Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is targeting Everton defender Johnny Heitinga and Southampton striker Rickie Lambert to solve problems at either end of the pitch.

West Ham are interested in signing Qpr striker Loic Remy after club chairman David Sullivan spoke of the necessity to bring in a new forward this summer, according to the Daily Star.
Manager Sam Allardyce saw a move for Estudiantes forward Duvan Zapata collapse this week and is keen to add to his attacking options for the new campaign, sentiments which were echoed by Sullivan.
The 64-year-old said:
“We are happy with the rest of the team – all we need now is pace and goals. We need goalscorers not defenders.”
Club-record signing Andy Carroll is continuing his recovery from a heel injury sustained toward the end of last season and will miss the start of Premier League when it gets back underway next month.
That leaves the Hammers a bit lightweight up front and Remy, who only signed for Qpr in an £8 million deal in January, has emerged as Allardyce’s No.

West Ham United are about to open talks with Liverpool over a permanent move for striker Andy Carroll, according to talkSPORT.
Carroll has become something of a fan favourite during his time at Upton Park this season following his season-long loan move from Anfield at the start of the campaign.
And despite spending a lengthy spell on the sidelines between December and late January with knee and hamstring problems, the Hammers want to make his stay permanent.
Carroll has reportedly impressed bosses by scoring 7 goals this season and helping the side to a top 10 finish, and co-owner David Sullivan will do everything within his power to ensure he stays in London.
Former club Newcastle as well as Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the lanky forward’s signature in recent months but Sullivan told the club’s matchday programme:

Chelsea are planning to hijack West Ham United’s Wilfried Bony bid, according to The Sun.
The Hammers have set their sights on the Ivorian recently, and thought they were close to agreeing a record-breaking deal to bring the Vitesse Arnhem striker to Upton Park in the summer.
Since being confirmed as the anchor tenants at the Olympic Stadium last week, West Ham have been tipped to land world class players and Co-chairman David Sullivan was hoping to do just that when he met with one of the player’s agents, Francis Kacou on Monday this week.
But reining European Champions Chelsea are also interested, and view the free-scoring forward as the ideal replacement for misfiring Fernando Torres at Stamford Bridge.

Bony has netted 26 goals in 24 appearances for Arnhem this season and has inspired them to a surprise title push in the Eredivisie, while comparisons have been drawn with former...

The stage could be set for Andy Carroll to make a shock return to Anfield.
West Ham had been tipped to make their deal for Carroll permanent at the end of the season, after West Ham co-owner David Sullivan spoke recently of a deal to take Carroll to Upton Park permanently (via SkySports):
“I am often asked about Andy Carroll’s deal. It is a season-long loan. Liverpool had an option to take him back in January, but he has been injured.
“West Ham have an agreement with Liverpool to sign him at the end of the season, but we have no agreement with the player.
“It was his desire to come to West Ham to prove himself to Liverpool and that hasn’t changed.
“He has had injuries since he came, but he is back to fitness now and we have 15 games left… we need some goals and some points,...

It is the belief of the Telegraph’s Transfer Deadline coverage team that Arsenal have made a bid for West Ham’s midfielder Mohammed Diame, who only joined the club in the summer, triggering his release clause and allowing him to speak to the club about a late move before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm.
It had been thought that West Ham would keep hold of one of their key assets, as the Independent reported as late as a couple of hours ago, but Sky Sports News were the first to confirm that a Premier League club had made a bid to trigger his release clause, though the club were not named at the time in that on-air report.
The Telegraph followed that report up with their own assessment of the situation:
“The Diame release clause looks like turning into one of this evening’s most gripping sagas.

Sam Allardyce has guided West Ham United back into the Premier League after a 2-1 Championship play-off final victory in front of 78,523 fans at Wembley Stadium this afternoon.
Hammers striker Ricardo Vaz Te scored the lucrative winner in the 87th minute, finding the back of the net from close range high into the middle of Matt Gilks’ goal.
West Ham had probably deserved the victory after edging the game over the 90 minutes. They scored the opening goal in the 35th minute from a Carlton Cole strike in the six yard box. It was 1-0 at half time but Ian Holloway’s men had a perfect start to the second half when Tom Ince equalised when he cooly finished in the bottom left hand corner of Robert Green’s goal.
But in the end it is West Ham United and not Blackpool who are promoted straight back into the Premier League...

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan claims that goal machine Demba Ba has just a £7 million release clause at Newcastle United.
Additionally, if Ba’s release was activated the player himself would pocket half of the transfer fee himself and because of this reason, he believes The Magpies top scorer will leave in the summer unless he gets ‘a monstrous pay rise to stay there’.
The quotes come from an interview Sullivan had with Ian Dale, and appeared on the West Ham Till I Die website where he reveals; how they nabbed Ba when the player failed a medical ahead of a €6m move to Stoke, how a failure to write one line in the contract for his move cost West Ham and Ba’s previous club Hoffenheim when they both got stuffed in a transfer where Ba’s agent got £2 million for the move to the North East, and...

Through our experiences at the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, we have taken an immense liking to metal music, but it still is refreshing to hear rock n’ roll music within the festival’s metal line up. So thank you, Red Fang, for adding some spice to the festival. The “outcast” band consists of vocalist and guitarist, Bryan Giles, vocalist and bassist, Aaron Beam, guitarist, David Sullivan and drummer, John Sherman. Red Fang dropped their self-titled debut in 2009 and recently released, “Murder The Mountains”, which The Decemberists’, Chris Funk, produced, on April 12th via Relapse Records. With two albums down, the hard rock band has been on the road,...

He pulls Neal in because 6-year-olds make him nervous. Ha! Peter cringes as Allison draws on a 515 form, but Neal compliments her artistic ability. Peter catches us up by saying Sullivan's dad died and left them the house but before passing took out a second mortgage. Sullivan claims his dad would never do that. Top Ten Time Travel Movies
Deciding where to begin with a list of my top ten time travel movies wasn't very hard. I had a handful of films already in mind when I started, as with most any list of this sort, the films I watched as I was growing up had a profound effect on me and therefore always effect the way lists such as this turn out. However, before I felt I could do a proper list there was much more than simply the films I've watched over my lifetime to consider. In order to be thorough I had to look elsewhere and at films I had yet to see.
On top of figuring out my favorites I also had to figure out whether some films should even be classified as "time travel movies." Take Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) for instance. Throughout the entire film...

The former Mad Men star is back on the market after recently splitting from her boyfriend of two years
It’s over for Community star Alison Brie and actor boyfriend David Sullivan. Sources reveal to HollywoodLife.com that the couple of two years recently split because the 26-year-old actress was “too young.”
“He has a kid with someone already. Alison is getting famous and too hot for him, and just a little too young for him, as well!” a pal of David’s tells us.
In fact, the 33-year-old actor recently posted on his Facebook page, “I am certain of this: I will dream about some sporting event tonight and an ex-girlfriend. No doubt.”
The actress’ Bradley Frank said he doesn’t comment on his clients’ personal lives.

As was the case when some "Red Faction"-related domain names came to light this week, Sony's newly-registered inFamous2TheGame.com does not denote the imminent arrival of an unannounced sequel. However, should Sony decide at some point in the near future to create a game called "inFamous 2," they are going to be in great shape for establishing its web presence.
Scea's new purchase was spotted over at Superannuation, where it corroborated a withdrawn tweet from last year by voice actor David Sullivan. Sullivan claimed to be auditioning for the re-cast part of Cole, according to Cvg. His post was removed from his feed, however, probably due to a polite request from Sony.
Officially, there is of course no "inFamous 2" game in works, but Sony and Sucker Punch should be fun to keep an eye on during E3, just in case that situtation changes. In the meantime, inFamous2TheGame.com...

In a victim's impact statement read in Toronto court, former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher said he felt he had been "hit by a bus" when pushed from behind at the Virgin Music Festival in 2008.Gallagher's statement was read at a hearing for David Sullivan, 48, from Pickering, Ont., who has pleaded guilty to causing bodily harm when he sneaked backstage at the Toronto music festival and pushed Gallagher into monitors while the band was performing.Gallagher suffered three broken and dislodged ribs, which was apparently the result of the push and not the fall. Oasis was forced to cancel numerous shows while Gallagher recovered."It was as if I had been hit by a bus," he said in his victim's impact statement.Initial reports had suggested Gallagher might attend the hearing and give his statement in person, but that turned out not to be the case.Gallagher...

Razorlight considered splitting up earlier this year. The band were rocked when drummer Andy Burrows quit in March and admit they were thinking about calling it a day until they recruited replacement musician David Sullivan-Kaplan. Singer Johnny Borrell said: "It was not at all certain that we were going to carry on. We had kind of rehearsed for it because we had exactly the same situation just after the first album, where Christian Smith-Pancorvo left, then Andy came in. "David fitted in right away. He's a really great guy and an excellent drummer so it feels new and exciting." Following his departure, Burrows - who co-wrote the group's biggest hit 'America' - said: "It was hell. Another webisode of NBC's "Heroes" will take over the online world. "Heroes: The Recruit" will start airing on Monday, December 15 with the first chapter called "Private Mills".
Similar to the previous two webisodes that introduce new characters and people with special abilities, the new webisode will bring in Rachel Mills, a marine who is recruited by Pinehearst to be part of a top-secret program. Rachel, who is played by Taylor Cole ("CSI: Miami"), survives an explosion only to face off against Angela Petrelli (Christine Rose), who is after one thing, the truth, no matter the pain.
The series starts a month ahead, with the background story of how 50 marines are recruited by Pinehearst for a secret government operation. They are injected with an experimental serum to aid in apprehending people with "special" abilities. But these "specials" pose a threat to the society.
Also starring in the series will be Brian Skala as David Sullivan,...
