TORONTO -- Giant screen exhibitor Imax Corp. on Tuesday became the subject of another class action lawsuit, this time from Canadian investors. In the latest suit, Windsor, Ontario-based law firm Sutts, Strosberg LLP said it has filed a $200 million claim in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on behalf of Imax shareholder Neil Silver. The suit alleges Imax misrepresented its revenue and earnings for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ending on Dec. 31, 2005 and in the first quarter of 2006 to recognize revenue from Imax screens that were not yet opened.
