On Friday, a Texas father was charged with capital murder in the death of his 2-year-old daughter, whom he'd been watching at their Watauga, Texas home last December. The cause of death of 2-year-old Ellie Sanders was asphyxiation, according to an arrest affidavit by the Watauga Police Department. Anthony Michael Sanders, her father, remains behind bars, with bail set for $1 million. Watauga Police Sgt. Jason Babcock says authorities believe Ellie may have disrupted Sanders's computer game, which allegedly sent Sanders into a rage. "What he was doing that day is what he did most days," Babcock says, referring to his gaming hobby.

A lot of successful WWE performers can trace their lineage through Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling. Rob Van Dam became WWE Champion (and Ecw Champion) in 2006. Tazz parlayed his wrestling character into a successful announcing career starting in 2002. The homicidal, genocidal, maniac that was Sabu played an important role in the re-launch of the Ecw brand beginning with 2006′s One Night Stand PPV (facing Rey Mysterio for his World Championship). To varying degrees, the Ecw experience helped shape the careers of many former WWE World Champions such as Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley, Eddie Guerrero and Steve Austin.
However, there’s the other group. Those are the many Ecw performers whose experience in the WWE was far less thrilling. While these wrestlers have mostly been relegated more to footnotes of WWE history we’ll take a moment to recall their time as superstars in the world’s biggest pro-wrestling company.

Kristen's lover has been forgiven by his wife Liberty Ross! Read on for all the details of this new report! Rupert Sanders's father has played down the scandal surrounding his son. Sanders found himself at the centre of controversy earlier this week after it emerged that he had a 'fling' with Twilight star Kristen Stewart, with whom he worked on Snow White and the Huntsman. However, Michael Sanders has now insisted that his son is a "very honourable" man. "From what I gather nothing really happened and it is all a lot of fuss about nothing," he told People. "I should imagine it was something very brief. "She is a very pretty girl and when you work that closely with someone for so long, sometimes things happen." Michael, who described his son as "hardworking" and a "dedicated father and filmmaker", also suggested that Rupert and his wife Liberty Ross will stay together. "Of (more)...

Hours after we heard Rob Pattinson had temporarily moved out of the house he shares with Kristen Stewart in Los Feliz, following her apology for cheating with director Rupert Sanders, X17 snapped some shots of what could potentially be a moving van outside their home. Okay, maybe they just…decided to get…a big creepy van? Ugh, we know. It doesn’t look good. You know what else doesn’t look good? The photo of KStew sharing an intimate meal with Sanders in Berlin back in May. RadarOnline snagged the pic of Rupert and Kristen dining out at Monsieur Vuong without their respective partners; while it’s not salacious, seeing them dining out and getting close doesn’t exactly jibe with Kristen’s assertion their cheating was something “momentary” and unplanned. We apologize for that ball of dread in your stomach right now, Robsten fan. We feel your pain.

Rupert Sanders' father, Michael, is speaking out about his son's affair with Kristen Stewart. Shockingly, he thinks it's no big deal and even said, "it is a lot of fuss about nothing." Do you agree? Rupert Sanders, who was just photographed kissing Kristen Stewart on July 17, issued an apology to his family on July 25. And now, Rupert's father, Michael, is speaking out. Michael Sanders told People, "From what I gather nothing really happened and it is all a lot of fuss about nothing. I should imagine it was something very brief. She is a very pretty girl and when you work that closely with someone for so long, sometimes things happen." Michael obviously loves his son -- and defended his actions. "He is very honorable, hardworking and [a] dedicated father and filmmaker." Michael believes Rupert and his wife Liberty Ross will survive this scandal. "Of course their relationship will survive this.

By now, you've probably seen the video of Miley Cyrus allegedly smoking salvia from a bong, and you're probably wondering whether she might face legal repercussions as a result of the clip. According to organizations on either side of the ongoing war over drug legalization, the answer is no.
"[The video] might be embarrassing to her, but it does not put her in any legal risk," Keith Stroup, legal counsel at the marijuana advocacy group Norml, told MTV News on Friday (December 10). "At the moment, [salvia] is not illegal in California, so even if she walked out on the street and smoked it in front of police, she couldn't be arrested. And the video of her smoking isn't enough to get her in trouble, because there's no proof she wasn't smoking tobacco.

The second instalment of our behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of Star Wars...
At the Letterman Digital Arts Center in San Francisco, legendary special effects house Industrial Light and Magic shares its office space with LucasArts, the game development arm of LucasFilm. Here, concepts of game and filmmaking are closely entwined – the two work together, drawing ideas and technologies from each other as the twin entertainment media converge.
It's a gaming event, for example, that helped kickstart a new R&D project at Ilm – real-time movie-making using motion capture systems. As Mike Sanders, the digital supervisor at Ilm, explains: "On the first Force Unleashed game, LucasArts called us and said they were doing a press junket and wanted to do the Clone Cam thing with everyone on the tour. So I said, that's going to take a while, why don't we do something different? Let's write some code to port...

As our minibus pulls up to the LucasArts entrance area, there is a strange but not entirely unexpected welcoming party. Darth Vader and six stormtroopers are lined up along the road, standing to attention in the blinding Californian sunshine. Yesterday San Francisco saw its hottest day since records began, and today the temperature remains in the high nineties. Of course, press trips like this are rare, and the staff at LucasArts like to pull out all the stops. But these poor bastards must think they're back on Tatooine.

In early 2008, MTV News received a pitch from a writer named Rebecca White, who said she was good friends with Debbie Rowe, the mother of Michael Jackson's first two children (Michael Joseph Jr., a.k.a. Prince Michael, and Paris and his wife for more than three years. White said she had been invited to Rowe's horse ranch near Palmdale, California, and that Rowe was interested in doing an on-camera interview.
Obviously, we were interested in making it happen.
So, on April 6, we sent White and a crew to Rowe's ranch. To be honest, we didn't know what we'd find when we got there. Since divorcing from Jackson in 1999, Rowe had retreated to the dusty hills, having granted custody of the...
