UK representatives on hand to mingle with rising UK talent included: Adrian Wootton, CEO, and Samantha Perahia, head of production UK, of the British Film Commission; Kaye Elliott, head of production services, Creative England; Brodie Pringle, locations manager, Creative Scotland; Andrew Reid, head of production, Northern Ireland Screen; and Allison Dowzell, manager, Wales Screen.

Jan Naszewski’s Warsaw-based sales outlet New Europe Film Sales has picked up world sales rights to Mark Cousins’ documentary, I Am Belfast.
In the film, the Northern Ireland city is personified by a 10,000 year old woman who reveals its story. Themes brought up in the film range from the landscapes surrounding the city, its changing architecture and social structure to the political and personal repercussions of the Northern Irish conflict.
The feature, with a score by composer David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven), received its world premiere as the opening feature of the Belfast Film Festival in April and played in the documentary competition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in July.

Entertainment One (eOne) has picked up the untitled AP McCoy documentary from Moneyglass Films for UK and Ireland with plans to release the film theatrically later this year.
Directed by Bafta-winner Anthony Wonke (The Tower: A Tale of Two Cities), the all-access documentary - previously known as Being AP - follows the story of 20-time champion jockey AP ‘Tony’ McCoy through his final season.
The 40 year-old has notched up more than 4,300 wins, 700 falls, 40 broken bones and a BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2010 across a near 25-year racing career.
