- Hardy Rawls was born on November 18, 1952 in Florida, USA. He is an actor, known for Cape Fear (1991), The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1992) and See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989).
- Hardy grew up in Sanford, Florida, and graduated from Seminole High School. After high school, he served in the Navy and then attended Seminole State College. There, he did his first play, went on to Florida Atlantic University, and got a BFA. In 1978, his father passed away and he went home to Orlando and got his first commercial, and later went to UCLA. He then went on to NYC where he lived for 30 years and did numerous commercials throughout the 1980s. In the 1990s, he starred as the Petes' dad Don Wrigley on the Nickelodeon series 35 Hours (1995), one of his favorite roles.
- He also appeared in the film See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder in the fight scene with Pryor. Hardy had to grab him in a bear hug and take Pryor off-camera to the floor mat. After the scene, Hardy asked, "Are you okay, Mr. Pryor?", who answered, "My wife doesn't even hug me like that." He most recently filmed the movie Walt Before Mickey (2015) as Walt's family doctor who gave him his first loan for his animation studio which was filmed in Sanford and Deland, Florida.
