- Jack Rabin was born on March 18, 1914 in Canada. He was a producer, known for The Night of the Hunter (1955), The Killing (1956) and Cat-Women of the Moon (1953). He died on May 25, 1987 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- His greatest claim to fame occurred during the 1950s when he and his partners, Louis DeWitt and Irving Block, provided special effects for low budget producers. The trio also created some of their own projects.
- In 1974, he officially incorporated his own independent special effects company. Jack Rabin and Associates.
