Quinton's life-partner,
Charles Ludlam, founded the Ridiculous Theatrical
Company in New York City's West Village in 1967. The two co-starred in
many RTC productions, written by Ludlam, known for their delightfully
wacky, pun-filled, gender-bending humor. After Ludlam died in 1987
(complications from AIDS), Quinton kept the RTC going, but it lasted
only another 10 years.
