It’s hard to believe how many hurdles Seal Team has survived throughout its run.
The hit military drama started as a CBS original and was moved to Paramount+ as a streaming original several years ago amid concerns for its future.
After beating the odds for so many years, we’re about to say goodbye for good as Seal Team Season 7 will conclude the David Boreanaz-led drama.
While the seventh season was ordered over a year ago, fans have been anxiously awaiting word on a premiere date.
Thankfully, Boreanaz took to Instagram to share an update on the premiere date and a first look at the script for the series finale.
The actor noted that the “last word is on the table,” before sharing, “August here we come.”

We've been waiting for Seal Team Season 7 updates since Seal Team Season 6 went off the air in November.
The series has consistently delivered plenty of action as we follow the lives of the Bravo Team and those in their orbit.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Seal Team Season 7 will be on the air soon, but we TV Fanatics have rounded up everything to know about the season ahead.
Seal Team Season 7 Renewal Status
It was the most expected TV news, but Paramount+ officially picked up Seal Team Season 7 in January.
Yes, it occurred a little later than we expected, but there was no way the streaming service would leave us hanging after the conclusion of Seal Team Season 6 Episode 10.
It's good knowing that our favorite show is returning, but there were some concerns that the streaming service held off longer than usual for an official announcement.

If you’ve been left in a gaping void by the end of Succession, don’t despair. The Hollywood Reporter has another 11 series to watch for those desperate for a dysfunctional family drama fix. The below titles (along with where you can stream them) include more epic siblings battles, snarky dinner table banter and unpredictable plot twists. Dive into these series for the thrill of family backstabbing, corporate double-dealing or simply for the maladjusted — and wealthy and/or powerful — bringing out the worst in one another, typically (except for a few aspirational exceptions).

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Seal Team Season 6 Episode 6 “Watch Your Six.”] Bravo has a very different mission, but one of their most important, personal ones yet, in Seal Team’s 100th episode. The military drama rightfully focuses on what makes it so good: the relationships within the team, even if one of the brothers isn’t on Bravo at the moment. Upon returning home from Syria, Jason (David Boreanaz) may at first be focused on trying to find a reason to spin up again and also spend time personal time with Mandy (Jessica Paré), but that changes once he hears about what’s going on with Clay (Max Thieriot). Sonny’s (A.J. Buckley) the one to find him sleeping in his bed after Clay walked out on Stella (Alona Tal) and suggest a boys trip hunting to make up for lost time with his battle boo. Then Jason learns that Clay was told to take time ...

The end could be in sight for Bravo Team.
Seal Team Season 6 Episode 2 picked up three months after the attack on the team, and while it helped advance many of the plots, some of the conflict set up by Seal Team Season 6 Episode 1 had fizzled out.
Clay's reaction to losing half of his right leg was heartbreaking because he was blissfully unaware of what happened after he flatlined when he woke up.
As a result, he spent much of "Crawl, Walk, Run" trying to regain some independence because he didn't want people doing things for him.
He was dead set on leaving the team behind to spend time with his family, but now that he's being told that returning to work will be an uphill battle, it must be tough for him to feel like that choice has been taken from him.
Then again, he probably feels some way about...

Television has provided unrealistic standards of life’s many truths for as long as it’s existed — from being able to hang out in a coffee shop during the work day to going on thousands of dates in a single year. But one of the most bothersome standards TV has warped audiences into thinking is what kind of apartment New Yorkers today can realistically afford.
Millions of residents live in the five boroughs, and more people move there every day with dreams of getting a 212 area code and a mailing address in the big city. If only they knew what they were actually in for. The 15 TV characters ranked below lease or own apartments that have become characters in and of themselves, leading New York natives and newbies alike to think they can afford an apartment like Monica Geller’s from “Friends” or Hannah Horvath’s from “Girls.” So, exactly...

Can we get that Seal Team Season 6 renewal right now, please?
Seal Team Season 5 Episode 14 was a pulse-pounding hour that started by wrapping up many plots, but ended with one of the most shocking cliffhangers I've ever seen.
So much happened, and it's hard not to think that a potential Seal Team Season 6 will look like a very different show.
If you watch Seal Team online, you know the series takes big narrative risks, but damn, the final scenes were brutal.
Before we get into that, we need to speak about how the team landed on their most harrowing mission to date.
The tension in Venezuela was resolved too quickly, sending our gang back to U.S. soil to make some strides in their personal lives.
In essence, the first half of "All Bravo Stations" played out like a series finale, resolving some of the biggest conflicts from the series.

This The Simpsons review contains spoilers.
The Simpsons Season 33 Episode 7
The Simpsons season 33 episode 7 is Uff-da, even if the villain of the episode, Kostas Becker, voiced by Brian Cox, does say so himself. He is not one to get overwhelmed, and has faith in his good book, so we are inclined to believe him. But the biggest proof comes from Chief Wiggum, even if it will do nothing to clear up the case.
Once again presented as a Simpflix prestige crime thriller, “A Serious Flanders (Part 2)” opens in the aftermath of the carnage that concluded “A Serious Flanders (Part 1),” as well it should. Wiggum is beside himself, and gives a one-scene bravura performance being there. He is devastated by all the death which happened in his small, normally peaceful, jurisdiction. He knows all these people, the “Disco guy,” as he calls Stu, and the ancient monopolistic tyrant Mr. Burns, who...

The desperate mission to find Mandy concluded on Seal Team Season 5 Episode 6, and it was another pulse-pounding hour of this Paramount+ (!) drama.
Mandy's fate could really go either way because of Jessica Paré's limited involvement with the show these days, but it didn't make the search any less nail-biting.
The moment the team happened upon the burnt-out village, I thought they would find something belonging to Mandy to throw fans off until the actress returned to the series.
My jaw hit the floor when Many popped up to save Jason. They kept the secret very well, but her saving creates more questions than answers.
Bravo Team knows she could be playing them, and her tall tale about how she happened to be in this place seemed a little too fabricated.
She didn't tell them about her being disavowed from the CIA, and there was a certain look from her when that was brought up.

Tudum, meet Tud’oh! “The Simpsons” has gone “Simpflix” with the two-part episode “A Serious Flanders,” which executive producer Matt Selman calls a “dark, twisted ‘Fargo’ story.” Variety has an exclusive on the trailer that writer Cesar Mazariegos cut for the event; scroll down to watch.
According to Selman, “A Serious Flanders” was inspired by the TV adaptation of “Fargo,” which he finally caught up on. That, and the continued rise of prestige premium drama on cable and streaming, let to the idea of how “The Simpsons” might parody the space.
Mazariegos wrote the two-parter, which even relies on guest voices from that world: “Succession” star Brian Cox guest stars in “A Serious Flanders,” along with Cristin Milioti (“Fargo”), Timothy Olyphant (“Deadwood”), Chris O’Dowd (“Get Shorty”) and Jessica Paré (“Mad Men”).

It would be easy — and not especially inaccurate — to dismiss “Birds of Paradise” as a YA riff on “Black Swan,” but . Besides, the movie owes just as much to Luca Guadagnino’s recent “Suspiria” remake — if not for its supernatural menace, then at least for its witchy mood. Directed by Sarah Adina Smith (“Buster’s Mal Heart”), she brings texture to a conventional story about ultra-competitive teenage girls, turning it into something more like a crucible for the survival of their very souls.
Okay, so most YA adaptations are super derivative, but at least this one has style. And a real sense of danger. And Jacqueline Bisset as a French dance instructor who refers to her students as “rats,” and lets them call her “le Diable” in return.
“Birds of Paradise” begins as a fish-out-of-water story when a cash-strapped Virginia teen named Kate (“Booksmart” breakout Diana Silvers) tiptoes into an elite...

Seal Team Recap: Did Depositions Help or Hurt Jason's Case? Plus, How Is Mandy Liking Civilian Life?
This week on Seal Team, we learned why NCIS hauled Jason out of the Bulkhead in handcuffs. Did depositions from those around him help his case? And what advice did Mandy Ellis have to offer?
In an episode directed by Mandy herself aka former cast member Jessica Paré, Jason in short order learned that he was being charged with unlawfully killing an unarmed citizen during the team’s most recent op, in Jordan. His failure to ensure that the target was armed before the use of lethal force put him in violation of Ucmj Article 119, making for a manslaughter charge.

As promised back in December, former Seal Team cast member Jessica Paré recently rejoined the CBS drama — to direct an important upcoming episode. And TVLine has exclusive photos(below) of her calling the shots in her directorial debut.
An original cast member, Paré’s run as a series regular came to an end in this season’s two-part premiere, when Mandy — coming out of the latest deployment, during which she tragically lost another asset — told Jason (David Boreanaz) that she has decided she has served her share of time. No longer can she just keep “moving forward,” as he does.
