He composed music for and worked as a prop master in an infomercial for Studio Film and Tape called "Play It Again, Sam" (1986).
He played an uncredited role as a waiter in the Blake Edwards film "Sunset" (1988) with a bit that was cut from the film. He worked in other productions including "Happy Together" (1988) and five episodes of "Beauty and the Beast" television series (1987-88) as an extra.
He produced an Internet radio segment with actress Cindy Williams (2001).
He co-produced with producer Matt Sommers, composed the music and also starred in a short promotional film called "Chameleon" (2003) which was screened at the Alternative Film Festival in Indianapolis in 2004.
He has written numerous musical compositions and comedy routines, sings, plays keyboards, creates characters and performs one man shows or with a band as Niswander Rock Theater. He released two rock/pop CD's as Niswander in 1999 and 2003.
Began producing an Internet based show called "Niswander's Fun To the Nth Degree" in 2006 which has included a documentary style series on the Indianapolis Colts and the 41st Superbowl and a New York City travelogue, the You Tube phenomenon, a series of interviews with singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin and variety shows with appearances by actor/writer Harry Shearer and others.
