The official website for the Space Battleship Yamato remake anime series released a second teaser trailer for "The Black Invasion" ( Kuro no Shinryaku ), the first chapter of its latest installment, Be Forever Yamato Rebel 3199 ( Yamato yo Towa ni Rebel 3199 in Japan). This 30-second clip first aired during the broadcast of the previous installment's first episode, Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love , on Japanese TV last night and later streamed on YouTube Emotion Label Channel . It will also screen at theaters in Japan from April 19. The clip depicts something extraordinary approaching Earth and includes footage shown for the first time, such as scenes featuring Space Battleship Yamato and Wave-motion Test Ship Ginga. The first of the new seven-chapter series is scheduled to open in Japan on July 19, 2024. It was also called ‘Damn cool’ by any kid who saw when they were growing up. Space Battleship Yamato is coming back!’ It has been 25 years since the last film screened in cinemas and it is making its valiant return thanks in whole to original Yamato producer Yoshinobu Nishizaki.
