- She was one of Denmark's best known sopranos, and performed in the world's leading opera halls, including La Scala in Milan, the Vienna State Opera, and London's Covent Garden. She appeared at the Bayreuth and Salzburg Festivals, as well as the Mostly Mozart festival in New York.
