Has a minor role in every installment of former partner Dario Argento's "Three Mothers" trilogy. Most notably, she provided the voice of Mater Suspiriarum in Suspiria (1977) and played one of that character's victims in Mother of Tears (2007).
During her relationship with sculptor Mario Ceroli (1971-1974) they had a daughter named Anna (born 1973). Anna died in an accident in 1994. Daria's other daughter, Asia Argento, named her daughter Anna Lou in her memory.
