- Aleksey Muravlyov was born on May 2, 1924 in Tiflis, Georgian SSR, USSR. He was a composer, known for Aladdin and His Magic Lamp (1967), 49 Days (1962) and Kogda raskhoditsya tuman (1972). He died on April 22, 2023 in Moscow, Russia.
- In the class of music theory and composition, Muravlev studied with G. M. Rimsky-Korsakov , the composer's grandson.
- In 2014, he entered the Russian Book of Records in the categories "Oldest writing professional composer" and "Oldest active professional pianist performing his own music".
- A work was created by the composer under the impression of Bazhov's work, namely his tale "Dear Name" - Symphony-ballad "Azov-mountain". It was completed in the summer of 1944, and its premiere took place in 1945 at the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic and conducted by Mark Paverman. In 1950, A. Muravlev was awarded the Stalin Prize for this work. In 1959, the work was performed several times in the USA under the baton of Leoplod Stokowski .
