Today, ahead of its inaugural upfront presentation on May 14, Prime Video released the first photos from its upcoming original action comedy Jackpot.
In the near future, a “Grand Lottery” has been newly established in California—the catch: Kill the winner before sundown to legally claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot.
When Katie Kim (Awkwafina) moves to Los Angeles, she mistakenly finds herself with the winning ticket.
Desperate to survive the hordes of jackpot hunters, she reluctantly joins forces with amateur lottery protection agent Noel Cassidy (John Cena), who will do everything in his power to get her to sundown in exchange for a piece of her prize.
However, Noel must face off with his slick rival Louis Lewis (Simu Liu), who also seeks to collect Katie’s commission at all costs.
Jackpot was rated R by the MPA for pervasive language, violence, and sexual references.

There are many urban legends and stories about ghosts, ghouls and supernatural beings from all cultures, but there is something extra terrifying about the Mexican fable of La Llorona (aka The Weeping Woman). As they say in the debut trailer for the New Line Cinema horror The Curse of La Llorona: “It’s a folktale…to some.”
During Comic-Con in July, New Line gave a generous preview of the horror pic during their ScareDiego event and the new trailer builds on the terror. The fable of La Llorona is about a horrifying apparition of a woman who is caught between heaven and hell. She sealed her own fate when she drowned her children in a jealous rage. After drowning her children, she threw herself in the river after them and wept in pain — now her tears are eternal (hence the name Weeping Woman). Now, she stalks the night looking...

Exclusive: Katie Sarife has landed one of the three key lead roles in New Line’s upcoming untitled Annabelle project which heads into production this week.
The sixth title in The Conjuring franchise picks up with the Warrens bringing the Annabelle doll to a place where she can no longer wreak havoc: their Artifacts Room. Annabelle awakens the room’s evil which sets its sights on a new target: the Warrens’ ten year-old daughter Judy (Mckenna Grace). Sarife will play the friend of Judy’s cousin and babysitter. All together they deal with Annabelle’s chaos.
As Deadline exclusively reported yesterday, The Conjuring duo Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are reprising their paranormal investigators the Warrens in Annabelle 3, though in supporting roles. Madison Iseman also stars. Gary Dauberman is making his feature directorial debut off his script. James Wan is producing for Atomic Monster and Peter Safran is producing for The Safran Company.

Wilson and Farmiga starred as the real-life paranormal investigators in 2013’s “The Conjuring,” which set the franchise in motion, and “The Conjuring 2.”
The third installment in the “Annabelle” series is also the 6th film in what New Line has called the Conjuring Universe, which has seen its five movies gross over $1.56 billion worldwide. “The Nun,” the most recent release, has become the highest-grossing film in the franchise, surpassing $359 million worldwide this weekend.
That spinoff focused on the demon nun that came to life in “The Conjuring 2” from a painting by Ed Warren and later attacked Lorraine Warren. Annabelle was introduced in “The Conjuring” as a demon doll in their artifacts room.
