Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers gave us a great new international poster earlier in the week, giving us a look at the leading quintet front and centre.
At the time, we weren’t sure exactly when we could expect it to hit the big screen, but now its Us release date has officially been confirmed, and a new teaser poster for the States released.
Vulture report that the film will be hitting theatres on 22nd March, which will see it going head-to-head with DreamWorks’ The Croods and Antoine Fuqua’s Olympus Has Fallen. Three very different films, with fairly different target audiences, and here’s to hoping that all will do well that opening weekend.

Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers is sure to be one of the most divisive films of the year. Two things, at least, are almost certain: It will be seen by a lot of people, and it will become a cult film not soon to be forgotten.
The film debuted at Venice last year, and went on to Tiff a few days later – you can read our review from Toronto here. I was lucky enough to see the film in Toronto back in September, and especially after letting it sink in, thought it was pretty brilliant.
A lot of that has to do with the performances and the actors behind them – truly, this is a career-defining role for Vanessa Hudgens, and a brilliant performance from Selena Gomez, breaking away from the image so typically associated with her.
And with a few months to go before its arrival on the big screen,...

Vanessa Hudgens goes blonde and Selena Gomez is caught in an embarrassing tee! Look at shots from the first day of shooting 'Spring Breakers'! Hollywood's hottest It girls have hit the beaches of Sarasota, Fla., to start shooting Spring Breakers. But it seems as if Selena Gomez forgot her spring break attire! On Monday she was caught dressed down while shooting with her two best friends Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson. The girls play three college girls who run into trouble trying to fund a wild spring break trip. From the photos taken on set, Vanessa's sportin' new blonde locks and Selena's relaxing in some casually (dare we say, frumpy?) animated clothes. We're used to seeing Selena in a sleek and sexy wardrobe and can't help but wonder what her boyfriend Justin Bieber thinks about his girlfriend wearing an over-sized Garfield tee. The movie also stars James Franco and Glee's Heather Morrison.

“Glee” is nearly gone. With the season finale airing tomorrow, we’ll all have to figure out some other place to get our weekly fix of Broadway show tunes, classic rock covers, and Top 40 remakes. Maybe the new Lady Gaga album can fill the yawning void.
For now, here’s an advance listen to two of...
