Met Grace Kelly at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where they developed a life-long friendship. Mark Miller has been quoted in numerous Kelly biographies.
After awarding Sissy Spacek the title role in his first film as a writer/producer, Ginger in the Morning (1974), Miller adapted the screenplay to include songs Spacek wrote and performed. This was the first time her talents as a singer-songwriter were showcased in a feature film.
World premiere production of his comedy, "Amorous Crossing", was performed by the actress, Loretta Swit, at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre to excellent reviews. (August 2010)
