Directed by Mary Lambert from a screenplay by Stephen King himself, the 1989 film Pet Sematary is widely considered to be one of the best King adaptations ever made. The 1992 sequel, which was directed by Lambert from a screenplay by Richard Outten, is much less popular… and that’s why we’re looking at Pet Sematary II (watch it Here) in today’s episode of the video series The Black Sheep! To find out why we think Pet Sematary II deserves more love, check out the video embedded above.
Pet Sematary II has the following synopsis:
When his mother Renee dies, young Jeff Matthews moves back to his hometown with his father, Chase. Jeff grows friendly with Drew Gilbert at school, who tells him about the Indian burial grounds that bring people and animals back to life, which led to the deaths of the Creed family who used to live in town.

Tim Burton is planning to follow up his 3D Alice in Wonderland with a long-planned big-screen version of the cult '60s vampire soap opera Dark Shadows. The film is being produced by Dark Shadows superfan Johnny Depp, who has long hoped to play lead character Barnabas Collins. Now he gets his chance. [1] The film is reportedly set to shoot early this year, but no other cast has been announced. Now Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcote are reportedly in talks for key roles. Deadline [2] says that Mr. Haley would be Willie Loomis, the violent drifter and con man who is instrumental in releasing the vampire Barnabas Collins from his family mausoleum. Bella Heathecoate, meanwhile, would be Victoria Winters, the character who was basically the lead of the series in its early days, before the introduction of the supernatural elements that made it popular, and who ends up as a...

It's been only six months since we launched Lists Of Doom here at Fangoria Musick, and here we are with the 25th installment!
For the quarter-mark, we've got Jason McGuire, better known to metal fans as "Evil J", bassist/backing vocalist for one of my favorite bands, Otep. Currently touring in support of their recently-released album Smash The Control Machine, J took time out to share the details on his ten favorite fright films. J said it was hard to choose just ten, but we were able to get it narrowed down.
Here's Evil J's List Of Doom...
1. Creepshow (1982) Dir. George A. Romero
A childhood favorite. I've watched this movie every year on my birthday since I was 10. It is the greatest collection of short horror stories ever. It made me hate cockroaches and I never wanted to look under the stairs, but it is all good, because it’s Father’s Day,...
