Although Downton Abbey is ending with its sixth season later this year, there may still be a chance for the ITV drama to live on in a new form.
Series composer John Lunn recently revealed that he and Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes are in discussions to create a touring event featuring the show's music and cast in an interview with Billboard.
"There's talk of Julian Fellowes and I and some of the cast doing a live tour the way Doctor Who did," Lunn said.
"70% of it will be music from the show," he added. "There might be some Elgar, there might be some jazz of the periods. Some of the actors will likely recite. We'll have a screen. We may have the music live to several scenes. Julian may be the host.
"I'd say [there's a] 75% chance it will happen."

I love attempting to collect my thoughts before a film review only to mutter the phrase “How the f#ck am I supposed to review this film” over and over again. What movie, you ask? Oh, why a little flick called Only God Forgives, which got ferociously booed at Cannes.
There’s honestly a bloody war being waged in my mind right now. On one hand, Nicolas Winding Refn’s second pairing with Ryan Gosling exists as an abstract piece of artwork that absolutely gets a gold star for technique, presentation, ambiance, and every other visual category. On the other hand, Refn takes the minimalistic storytelling utilized in Drive, which critics gobbled up, and strips the skeleton down even further, producing a script that couldn’t have been more than 10 pages. Abysmal story work, exploitative violence, more mute Gosling – yet shot for shot the film was utterly beautiful to watch.

Ecko Rising (review here) by Danie Ware takes the reader on an amazing sci-fi adventure like no other. We recently chatted with the author about her new novel, the next two books in the trilogy, and more.
Amanda Dyar: Danie, thank you for taking the time to chat with us. First off, tell us a little about yourself and what paths led you to writing.
Danie Ware: I’ve always been a reader – from falling in love with Greek and Viking mythology when I was a cub to discovering Sf/F fiction as a teen. I think writing one’s own is a natural progression; it happens so organically that it’s hard to tell when the one becomes the other. Throughout my twenties I wrote reams and reams of fantasy - stories and novels and all things outlandish and wondrous. I stopped writing for a while in my...

Not content with their deconstruction of the American superhero in ode to violence Drive, Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling reteam for this summer’s Only God Forgives, from which several new stills have emerged today.
The film, in which Gosling’s Thai boxing underboss is tasked by his mother to avenge his brother’s recent death, sounds like more of the same from the pair whose fascination with the nature of violence, its influences and its influence made Drive a deceptively deep film about a man driving fast cars.
One of the new images show Gosling, fists raised against a typically red backdrop without the slightest trace of fear or anger etched across his face. If I were pushed towards analyzing the image, I’d make some mention of the fact that the stance (seen above) is itself a universally recognized symbol of violence, but Gosling’s Julian may...

One Tree Hill returns from a prolonged hiatus tomorrow night, but viewers expecting this to be a happy occasion for Brooke and Julian may need to lower their expectations.
Referring to this week's installment, which he actually directed, Austin Nichols teased to TV Line: "What you think is going to happen for Brooke and Julian may not happen in my episode."
The actor, of course, is speaking on the couple's plans to adopt and adds: “There are five episodes left, but the possibility of a family for Brooke and Julian gets more complicated.”
Does this mean they'll never be parents? It sounds like everything will work out in the end. Concludes the show star:
"The ending is going to be so sweet, after we go through what we’re about to go through..."...

The Good Wife offered significant movement in its two major areas last night, as Bond was ousted from the firm and Childs forced to withdraw from the election.
Yet I most enjoyed "Great Firewall" for the case of the week, which featured a pair of solid guest stars and a twist more surprising than either of the developments cited above.
First, let's stop and give mad props to Ken Leung. The actor who played a snarky, fast-talking Lost character, adept at English and sarcasm, shined here as a man struggling to formulate words, coming across as defeated as anyone who had been tortured for five years would be.
It was an impressive performance that showcased Leung's versatility.
John Benjamin Hickey also appeared as the founder of a social network site, donning far more clothing than he typically does in his role on The Big C. More than any show on TV,...

The CW releases a clip of "One Tree Hill" where Brooke tells Haley that she might be with a child. While handing out Haley's stage comeback outfit, Brooke comes clean with her fear that Julian may not take the baby news well. Haley thinks otherwise and suggests that Brooke get it checked to doctor.
The synopsis released by the network for the November 9 episode suggests that the news threatens Brooke and Julian's fairytale romance. Besides, the situation will be much complex than it appears. The preview released on Monday, November 2 reveals that a crying Alex is pleading Julian to come for her.
The episode called "Now You Lift Your Eyes to the Sun" also deals with Haley returning to the stage and Dan Scott returning to Tree Hill much to the chagrin of Nathan, who is about to sign a new NBA contract with the help of his agent Clay.
