HBO doesn't want to wait another six years this time, as it's renewed Curb Your Enthusiasm for a 10th season...
HBO will not be foisting Larry David on any other network, as it announced yesterday that it will be bringing back Curb Your Enthusiasm for a 10th season.
The announcement comes in a surprisingly painless fashion, and much quicker than Curb Your Enthusiasm is accustomed to. Larry David tends to like to make the people wait. The gap between season 8 and season 9 was six full years. This time around, however, the Curb crew is getting right back to work after early December's season 9 finale, with production starting as soon as a few months from now.
"As I’ve said many times, when one has the opportunity to annoy someone, one should do so," David said in a statement

90 Day Fiancé‘s David may have thought he found true love with his future bride Annie, but it turns out she’s more concerned about his financial situation than he thought.
In a sneak peek shared exclusively with People of Sunday night’s episode, the 48-year-old Kentucky resident gets grilled by his 24-year-old future bride about his lack of wealth.
“I just don’t understand why you’re 48 but you still don’t have anything,” a frustrated Annie tells David, who split from his wife of 21 years several years ago and lost his job, house and cars. “You still don’t have anything.

As Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival came to a close, a key player was conspicuously Mia: Audrey Horne, who last was seen darting across the roadhouse dance floor, to husband Charlie, only to suddenly find herself staring into a mirror, in what appeared to be a pristine hospital setting.
The startling switch-up seemed to confirm, as many had theorized, that Audrey’s reality, chronicled in just a handful of scenes, was anything but. And that Charlie, played by Clark Middleton, perhaps wasn’t her husband, or even real.

Upon its 1971 release, Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs obviously offended Roger Ebert, who issued a scathing review. Where he found purpose and even poetry in the grisly violence of Peckinpah’s prior film The Wild Bunch, when Peckinpah translated that western violence to a bucolic English village and, more uncomfortably, into the domestic sphere, Ebert drew the line: “Peckinpah’s theories about violence seem to have regressed to a sort of 19th-Century mixture of Kipling and machismo.” Straw Dogs offended many on its release and continues to offend nearly fifty years since, though it has also become a well-regarded, confrontational classic. Even Ebert, in 2011, admitted that “something within me has shifted,” and recognized “how close to home the movie strikes.”
Is this film offensive? Yes! Is it a rich masterpiece worthy of our prolonged estimation, and perhaps even our esteem? Yes! We should be offended by much of what happens and why and how,...

So Alien: Covenant. What was that all about then? Spoiler alert, as we delve into some of its lingering questions...
Nb: This article contains copious Prometheus and Alien: Covenant spoilers.
If you've seen Alien: Covenant, then you'll know by now that it's a very different beast from its predecessor, Prometheus. Where the last Alien prequel was as stately as an ocean-going liner, Covenant moves about like an out-of-control racing car. Once all the atmosphere-building's out of the way and the latest ship full of explorers lands on the ironically-named planet, Paradise, things go wrong with breathtaking speed.
In essence, it's the story of humans - led by the resourceful Daniels (Katherine Waterstone) - versus the crazed synthetic scientist David (Michael Fassbender, with his accents) and an army of ghoulish monsters. There's copious blood, teeth and ooze, and more than a few lingering questions to address.

Legion had a definite theme this week, and that is about holding back. Whether it is David (Dan Stevens) being held back by Lenny (Aubrey Plaza), or the bullets that are set to ruin everybody’s day.
While an episode which is set back in the mental hospital may put the fear into many fans that this would be a weak episode, there really wasn’t anything to worry about. What we see is David being put in a protective reality, just a shame it is Lenny (or as we now know her, the Devil with the Yellow Eyes) that appears to be in control. What is interesting about the setting of this episode is how David’s reality uses a lot of...

Legion has held back on giving us the truth around David (Dan Stevens) but this week it feels that we are finally close to that answer. With Cary (Bill Irwin) finally working it out, maybe the problem of Legion isn’t all just in David’s mind?
After the events of last week, now is the time for David to finally show his powers. Finally going to Division 3 to save his sister, the big question is, just who is in control and is David’s actions is own or some other sinister power?
One thing that I’ve enjoyed about Legion is the handling of mental illness within the show. It has always been questioned whether it is David’s mental state, or...

The controversial meme that Donald Trump tweeted and deleted on Saturday featuring Hillary Clinton and a star of David may have originated from an online message board for neo-Nazis. Mic reported that the image — depicting Hillary Clinton with a star-shaped sign that read “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” — was posted on /pol/, a message board for neo-Nazis and anti-Semites, a week and a half before Trump used it in his tweet. In the thread, the image was uploaded with the filename hILLhISTORY.jpg, the lowercase hh being a common abbreviation for “Heil Hitler” among white supremacists. Also Read: Marvel Turns Donald Trump.

It’s to be expected that Larry David’s new play is laugh-out-loud funny. The big surprise, though, is just how sturdy and conventional his stage comedy is in an old-fashioned Broadway kind of way. David may have written cutting-edge TV, but “Fish in the Dark,” which opened Thursday at the Cort Theatre, is anything but cutting-edge theater. Maybe “vintage” is a better word than “old fashioned” to describe “Fish,” which sports no fewer than 18 actors, a luxury that recalls the boulevard comedies of the 1930s. See photos: 11 Hollywood Stars Who Did Big Business on Broadway in 2014 (Photos) Actually, “Fish” recalls.

Togetherness, Season 1, Episode 6, “Ghost in Chains”
Written by Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass
Directed by Nicole Holofcener
Airs at 9:30 Pm (Et) on Sunday on HBO
For a group of adults with careers and children of their own, the core four of Togetherness are rarely honest with each other. Their relationship problems, work issues, self esteem difficulties, or otherwise are for the most part worked out within their own tired and overworked minds. If they ever look to each for advice it is taken with a hundred grains of salt and a healthy dose of rationalization, and even then, none of them ever follows through with much success. So when “Ghost in Chains” blows their self-built barricades to smithereens, it’s a welcome and momentum-building moment. From the opening scene, wherein Brett comes across Mary Steenburgen’s possibly unhinged Linda lying in the forest, honesty becomes the watchword.

After having a great deal of twisted fun with the horror genre in You’re Next, writer Simon Barrett and director Adam Wingard team up once again for the psychological thriller, The Guest. An homage to the thrillers of the 1980s, the film stars Dan Stevens as David Collins, a recently discharged soldier who takes it upon himself to visit the family of Caleb, one of his fellow soldiers who was killed in combat.
Caleb’s family is still grieving his loss, but when David shows up, he helps to assuage their pain and sadness while becoming the best houseguest anyone could hope to have. Caleb’s siblings, Anna and Luke, are initially hesitant about letting David stay, but he eventually wins them over. However, when a series of strange events start happening around town, it slowly becomes apparent that David may not be the man he claims he is.

After weeks of auditions, the Britain's Got Talent live shows kicked off last night - and Digital Spy was in the audience to get a first-hand look at Christian Spridon's ridiculous shirtless dancers. But what else did we see? Well, not much. But that won't stop us from bringing you a Behind-the-scenes look at all the action - here's what we spotted!
1. Simon Cowell sits on cushions to make himself look taller.
Well, we assume it's to make himself look taller. At the first ad break, a woman rushed in with a tower of cushions to put on the judges' chairs - but only Simon got two. For extra comfort or extra height? Who knows. What we do know is that he wouldn't stop leaning back in his chair like a naughty school boy. Sit up straight, Simon. We thought he was going to fall backwards, and then he'd be sorry.

So Heather did put together a pretty fabulous shindig to show off how much money she has. It all went pear shaped pretty quickly and ended in tears and contusions, but on the bright side everyone got onion rings out of it. For an event on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," that's not bad. It's hard to know who was more of a jerk in this episode, as it seemed everyone except the new girl, Lizzie, had a share of the blame in turning the hoedown into a shootout. The longer I watch this show, the more I find Vicki to be regressing, like a "Flowers for Algernon" story but mean and ornery. At this point, she seems to have stalled at the emotional maturity level of a middle school student. The snoring thing? It might have been funny once. Now, it just proves she lacks good material for her bullying.

A big part of what makes Stephen Spielberg such a standout director is his ability to tell a story. Within that ability is a subcategory that is just as important. That is the ability to develop and maintain quality characters. Keeping that in mind this list is dedicated to the top ten characters Spielberg created. With ads prominently pushing both its R-rated laughs and Jennifer Aniston as a stripper, you've probably figured out by now that "We're The Millers" isn't exactly a conventional family road trip movie. That's because the Millers aren't your conventional movie family.
Lead by Jason Sudeikis (fresh off his recent exit from "Saturday Night Live") and Aniston and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Dodgeball"), "We're The Millers" stars Sudeikis as David, a small-time pot dealer forced to graduate to international drug trafficking by his boss Brad (Ed Helms), who's like Tony Montana by way of Mr. Rogers. So, reasoning that clean-cut families draw less suspicion at the border, David recruits a fake wife and kids to help move his boss' product back from Mexico. Only this supposedly "all-American" family consists of a stripper, a runaway and a dorky teen.
In other words, the Millers aren't exactly a Norman Rockwell painting. So who are they then?...

The mortgage broker touched Patti's heart with the perfect gift. "This is my birthstone!" she said over a pair of earrings.
"I just saw the biggest smile on her face and it just made me feel so great," David said of the moment. "I love seeing her smile like that."
Patti Stanger said of David, "He’s like the guy of my dreams right now. I’m falling in love. Deeply, deeply in love."
She's still smiling, too. According to Radar Online, the couple is now engaged, and viewers will get to see their love story play out on the show. If that is the case, though, both Patti and David are keeping their engagement close to the vest.

Heading off to see her man hit the field, Victoria Beckham took the Eurostar train out of London for Paris on Sunday (February 24).
The 38-year-old fashion designer wore a long black coat and pointy black heels as she hurried with her head down to board the high-speed rail.
Today, David may make his debut on the field against the team's archrival, Marseille. Team boss Carlo Ancelotti stated to Agence France-Presse, "He will be available, but I don’t want to reveal the team. He has worked well and is in a good state physically and mentally. He wants to play and he is in a condition to start.”
If the 37-year-old hunk takes the field, it will be his first time playing professionally since the La Galaxy won the Mls Cup last year.

David Beckham is giving his wife silk pyjamas for Christmas. The soccer ace has bought two sets of nightwear - worth over £500 - for fashion designer wife Victoria from London's Harrods department store. The pyjamas were designed by Olivia von Halle, a British designer who was working in China when she was inspired by the nightwear of fashion icon Coco Chanel in the 1920s to create something luxurious and glamorous that would want to relax in at home. Other famous fans of Olivia's pieces include singers Rihanna and Rita Ora, with the latter even appearing in a set of them on stage. While David may lavish his family - which also includes sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo,...

David Beckham and his La Galaxy teammates returned to the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA, last night. The players took home their second consecutive Mls Cup title on Saturday, and returned to the field to continue the celebration. The team was joined by their families, press, and 3,500 fans who were overheard chanting, "One more year" to #23, David. Seven players took to the stage to give speeches, including David and Galaxy captain Landon Donovan. David addressed his fans, the coaches, and his teammates, saying, "I'd like to thank the most important people to me over the last six years, the people that I see every day. Every one of these players are incredible people." All six Beckhams are back in La for now, but we'll have to wait and see if there's an international move in their future. Victoria's been spotted checking out real estate in London, while rumors are...

Victoria Beckham left her London hotel today dressed in one of her own designs and accompanied by her kids Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Victoria is reportedly house hunting overseas while David preps for his final game with the La Galaxy. David and his teammates are set to face off against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, going for their second consecutive Mls Cup win. No word if Victoria and the kids will be back in time to watch him take the field, but it seems fans are clamoring to get a final peek of David in action since tickets are completely sold out. David may be gearing up for a big weekend, but he enjoyed a night off yesterday, joining Ashton Kutcher and Kaley Cuoco courtside at the Lakers game. View Slideshow ›...

Cunning vilains and blazing romance took over this week's Once Upon a Time, as "Into the Deep" dropped us into the netherworld where true love was exactly where we hoped it would be... but not what we expected.
We'll start with the villains.
Cora and Hook. Loyalty was a fluid thing with these two. Perhaps loyalty's too strong a term. Maybe it's that they're both working towards a common goal and willing to use one another to get it and trample over everyone else in the process.
That Cora kicked Hook to the curb certainly wasn't a surprise. She'll only keep him around as long as he's useful. But now that she has Aurora's heart, is there really a use for Hook? Either way, it certainly looked as though he'd bought himself some time.
And what's up with all of those hearts? They seemed to be everywhere. Talk about creepy.

Victoria Beckham spent her Saturday on the sidelines watching her sons play soccer in La. She and Harper snacked on Pirate's Booty while they checked out Cruz's match after cheering on Romeo during his game. When Romeo was finished on the field, he joined Victoria in the stands, where he got a big hug from his mom. He spent time hanging with little sister Harper, too, and tossed a few balls around with the 1-year-old. Victoria wore a black maxi dress for the warm outing after sporting shorts at last weekend's athletic events. David wasn't spotted in the stands, since he has his own competition to attend to. Price comparison site iSelect has launched a trio of new TV ads – one mocking advertisers ambushing the Olympics.
“Every four years it’s the same story. Companies that have nothing to do with the Games jumping on the bandwagon,” says Mr iSelect in the ad, played by actor Jason Geary.
The ad premiered during Nine’s coverage of the 2012 London Olympic Games opening ceremony.
The second of the batch, created by Ajf Partnership Melbourne and directed by Tony Rogers, suggests that it can be cheaper for Australians to have health insurance than not, in a school-yard style pitting of nerds versus cool kids.
The third spot sees Mr iSelect explain how iSelect finds the right health insurance to his apprentice Josh in the iSelect canteen by eating Josh’s chips.
The ads come just days after iSelect’s Cmo David May was announced as the CEO of national rugby league franchise the Gold Coast Titans.

Both iSelect and JetStar are major sponsors of the debt-laden club, and May is tasked with restoring the fortunes of the Titans, which has new financial backers.
An iSelect spokesman said the recruiting process is underway for a replacement for May, who leaves at the end of the month.
“While it was hard to leave an organisation as great as iSelect, when I was approached about this role by the Titans it was too good an opportunity to turn down,’’ said May.
“I’ve been involved with the Titans since 2006 at Jetstar and I really believe in this club and what it stands for. I believe in the local community and the Gold Coast region and I am confident that we can build something wonderful for our community,...

Los Angeles — Ann Rutherford, the demure brunette actress who played the sweetheart in the long-running Andy Hardy series and Scarlett O'Hara's youngest sister in "Gone With the Wind," has died. She was 94.
A close friend, actress Anne Jeffreys, tells the Los Angeles Times ( ) that Rutherford died Monday night at her home in Beverly Hills. She had heart problems and was in declining health. http://lat.ms/MEPubi
The Andy Hardy series, a hugely popular string of comical, sentimental films, starred Lewis Stone as a small-town judge and Mickey Rooney as his spirited teenage son.
Rutherford first appeared in the second film of the series, "You're Only Young Once," in 1938, and she went on 11 more. She played Polly Benedict, the ever-faithful girlfriend that Andy always returned to, no matter what other, more glamorous girl had temporarily caught his eye. (Among the other girls: Judy Garland and Lana Turner.)

Ann Rutherford‘s most notable screen roles were in films made away from both MGM and Wallace Beery. She was a young woman who falls for trumpeter George Montgomery in Archie Mayo’s 20th Century Fox musical Orchestra Wives (1942), and became enmeshed with (possibly) amnesiac Tom Conway in Anthony Mann’s Rko thriller Two O’Clock Courage (1945).
Following a couple of minor supporting roles — in the Danny Kaye comedy The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947) at Goldwyn and the Errol Flynn costumer The Adventures of Don Juan (1948) at Warner Bros. — and the female lead in the independently made cattle drama Operation Haylift (1950), opposite Bill Williams, Ann Rutherford retired from the screen. (Rutherford would later say that her Operation Haylift experience was anything but pleasant.)

The constantly accelerating process of the commoditisation of the communications industry through ever tighter procurement processes is to be scrutinised at Mumbrella360.
The session – titled “Beware The Bottom Feeders: client-agency remuneration” was proposed by Robert Morgan, executive chairman of Clemenger Group, who will be among the panellists.
Also on the panel are Tom Moult, executive chairman of Ogilvy Australia, Peter Horgan, CEO of media agency Omd and outspoken marketer David May, chief marketing officer of iSelect.
The final panelist is Darren Woolley, managing director of agency relationship specialist Trinity P3.
Woolley has been vociferous in the debate on agency remuneration, which kicked off after James Warburton – then at Seven and now CEO at Ten – attacked pitch consultants as “bottom feeders”.
The panel will be moderated by Mumbrella managing editor Robin Hicks.
Mumbrella360 takes place on June 6 and June 7.
The debate will be part of a double session examining the relationship between agencies and clients.

Unless you have been living under the sea, or more likely, unless you haven’t an interest in football, you couldn’t have failed to notice the celebrations of ’20 seasons in the Premier League’, a festival of voting for goals, managers, teams, celebrations, socks, grass, weather…
Manchester United have, without question, been the greatest team in Premier League history. Twelve titles (perhaps thirteen if you have stumbled across this from the future) amongst others go some way to proving that.
So in homage to the greatest ever Premier League Team, I have sought to try and pick their best ever Premier League XI, a debate that will rage on and on and on, to the point someone ends up in tears.
If you think I’ve got it wrong, prove it.
Gk: Peter Schmeichel
If there has been a better keeper in Premier League history, I’ll tell you that you are totally incorrect.

Jetstar Gold Coast Titans sponsor iSelect is behind a ticketing initiative that will offer fans a free ticket if the team doesn’t win its next home game against Storm.
The brand claims this is a sporting world first.
The promotion, a one-off for this weekend’s match, is open to only fans who have paid for a ticket in the general seating bowl to this Saturday’s home match.
The idea was the brainchild of iSelect marketing chief David May, who said more support was needed in the stands to start the 2012 season.
He said: “We’re excited about the Titans. They had a great off-season, a fantastic win against the Cowboys, and we’re now looking forward to a win against the Storm. The iSelect Home Win Guarantee is about us working with the Gold Coast community and backing the Titans to beat the Storm. We might be from Melbourne,...

Once Upon A Time, Season 1, Episode 14: “Dreamy”
Written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz
Directed by David Solomon
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
This week continues the “Lost” tradition of examining the backgrounds of minor characters. This time it’s Grumpy, one of the seven dwarves, also known as Leroy in Storybrooke. The episode opens with two fairies in the sky, the Blue Fairy of Pinocchio fame and Nova, who’s still “in training” Nova clumsily drops a handful of fairy dust that lands on an egg far down below in the Enchanted Forest. The egg hatches and out comes Grumpy ahead of schedule.
Though, he’s not “grumpy” just yet. When he receives his magical pickaxe, it shows him what his name will be, which reads “Dreamy.” Given that magical fairy dust landed on him, he is no ordinary dwarf, as he possesses the capacity to love.

"Law and Order: Svu" has never shied away from guest stars, but this week's all-new episode, "Father's Shadow," is chock-full of famous faces: country superstar Miranda Lambert, "Shameless" teen actor Cameron Monaghan, veteran actor Michael McKean and Harry Connick Jr., who continues his four-episode stint as Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) new love interest.
In the episode, airing Wed., Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. Est on NBC, Lambert plays Lacey Ford, an aspiring actress who falls under the spell of a hotshot movie producer (McKean), who uses his casting couch for more than just rehearsing lines.
A woman who auditioned for his reality show is found drugged in Central Park -- and there's evidence of sexual assault.
It doesn't take long for Detective Benson to crack the case, and crack down on the perp. But once the case is resolved, no one is prepared when a family member of the accused, played by Monaghan,...

While the interplay between the core cast members makes every episode enjoyable, and is the primary reason this is TV's highest-rated drama, certain story arcs and adversaries have a way of raising the stakes on NCIS.
Given some of the shocking deaths in the past (Kate, Mike), you never know what might happen when Gibbs and the team are in legitimate danger. That was certainly the case tonight, and the episode was compelling.
"Housekeeping" marked the resumption of the complex Phantom Eight plot, which nearly got Tony and E.J. killed in September's season premiere. This evening, they were very much under the gun again.
Or was that a bazooka?
Having peeled back layers of espionage, treason and duplicity over multiple episodes, the show set the stage for a good, old-fashioned standoff between NCIS and the ruthless, murderous Stratton.
With Scott Wolf's character back to finish what he started,...
