- Pierre Marchand is a Montreal-based composer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known for producing and co-writing with Sarah McLachlan, including hits such as "Into the Fire," "Fumbling Toward Ecstasy," "Adia" and "Building A Mystery." He has also produced tracks for Stevie Nicks, Rufus Wainwright, The Devlins, Martha Wainwright, Greg Keelor, Blue Rodeo, Lenka and others. Pierre has been nominated for a Grammy Award (best pop album 'Surfacing') and several Junos including Best Producer and Best Recording Engineer. In 1998, he won a Juno for Producer of the Year.
Songs Pierre has co-written or produced have appeared in numerous films and television shoes including City of Angels, Grey's Anatomy, Miracle on 34th Street, I Am Sam, and others.
