There’s a dance-based competition show currently airing Mondays at 9 pm. New episodes land on Fox. Cat Deeley’s the host.
And yet, despite those familiar trappings, or the title that runs across the screen at the start of each episode, I’m having trouble believing that the show in question is actually So You Think You Can Dance.

This could be the start of a long-awaited reveal. Goldfish returns to The Masked Singer on Wednesday (Fox, 8/7c) for the Group A finals, but we’ve already heard enough — we know exactly who she is.
Frankly, we had this one pegged from the moment she started singing in the Season 11 premiere, and we’ve even more confident hearing her clues. So listen up, Wildcats, we’re calling it now: Goldfish is none other than Vanessa Hudgens.

Exclusive: Fox is doubling down on its commitment to Rescue: Hi-Surf, picking up seven additional episodes of the Hawaii-set lifeguard drama from Warner Bros. Television, Fox Entertainment and John Wells Productions. The back order brings Rescue Hi-Surf‘s first season, which will air in 2024-25, to 19 episodes.
The network has been high on the project — which marks ER and The West Wing alum Wells’ broadcast return — from the get-go, giving it a straight-to-series order last April and envisioning it as a potential franchise.
Earlier this year, as the series, delayed by the strikes, started production on O’ahu, Fox ordered seven back-up scripts, I hear.
The first two episodes, written by series showrunner Matt Kester and directed by Wells, were delivered last week and were received very well by the network for the authenticity of its portrayal of first responders on Hawaii’s North Shore while also testing high. Based on that,...

9-1-1 fans can breathe a massive sigh of relief after Thursday’s conclusion to the season’s three-part premiere, now that Bobby and Athena are finally back on land — and back in the saddle. (Bow-chicka-bow-wow!)
Of course, not everyone fared quite as well as the 118’s Mom and Dad this week. For starters, remember that guy who “just wanted to cash out” on the ship? Well, he cashed out all right… from life. He was the episode’s first official victim, leaving just a handful of survivors to make their way off the boat.

“John Tucker Must Die” is being resurrected.
The beloved high school rom-com that had a Shakespearean revenge premise is getting the delayed-sequel treatment, according to one the original film’s stars Arielle Kebbel. She’ll not just reprise her role of Carrie in this one, but also produce.
“John Tucker Must Die” centered around a philandering popular jock (Jesse Metcalfe) whose series of girlfriends devise a plan to turn the heartbreak tables around on him. Enter: Brittany Snow. The 2006 film also starred Sophia Bush, Penn Badgley, and the singer Ashanti. It was directed by Betty Thomas.
John Tucker, who definitely ain’t dead yet, may even get a redemption arc in this one.
“I’ve heard rumors of this script — there’s a script,” Metcalfe said earlier this week during a panel at Epic Cons Chicago (via E! Online). “Apparently, it’s amazing.”

Following the success of Jonathan Demme's "The Silence of the Lambs" in 1991, Hollywood released an eight-year-long tidal wave of serial killer thrillers, each one pulpier than the last. This was the era of "Seven," "Copycat," "Along Came a Spider," "Jennifer 8," "See No Evil," "Eye of the Beholder," "Sliver," "Knight Moves," and any number of others. Right at the end of the decade came Phillip Noyce's 1999 thriller "The Bone Collector," based on the airport novel by Jeffery Deaver. Deaver's original novel was the first of the long-running Lincoln Rhyme series, a series that saw its 16th installment published in 2023. Lincoln Rhyme, thanks to a spinal accident, could not move his body below his neck, and fought crime from his bed, deducting details, looking at pictures, and relying on his team.
In the film adaptation, Denzel Washington played Lincoln Rhyme and Angelina Jolie played his plucky crime fighting partner Amelia Donaghy.

Fox sure is.
On Monday, the network confirmed a reboot of the iconic 1989-2001 series is in the works.

There will also be some creatives from the original series along to tackle this new wave.
Original creators Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz, and Gregory J. Bonann have all scored executive producer credits for the one-hour drama.
What is the Baywatch reboot about?
The updated Baywatch features “daring ocean rescues, pristine beaches, and iconic red bathing suits are back, along with a whole new generation of Baywatch lifeguards,” according to the official logline.
These new lifeguards “navigate complicated, messy personal lives in this action-packed reboot that demonstrates there’s the family you’re born into and the family you find.”

Exclusive: Blue Fox Entertainment announced it has acquired worldwide rights and will be launching sales on the sci-fi thriller Site at the upcoming American Film Market in November. The gripping and thought-provoking film is written and directed by the award-winning Jason Eric Perlman, who was recently named #4 in LA Weekly’s “Top 10 Entertainment Professionals to Watch in 2023.” His debut feature Threshold was released by Sony Pictures after a decorated festival run in 2017.
Blue Fox Entertainment is handling worldwide sales and will preview first look footage of the film for buyers at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM). Blue Fox Entertainment’s US distribution division is planning a theatrical release for the film.
The film stars Jake McLaughlin, Arielle Kebbel, Theo Rossi, and Miki Ishikawa, and Yoson An.
In Site, Neil (Jake McLaughlin) experiences an inexplicable time distortion in an abandoned military test site while inspecting it with his business partner Garrison (Theo Rossi). Soon, Neil is having repeated traumatic flashes back to a WWII prison camp in China called Unit 731, which somehow holds the thread to his own unraveling present. Neil begins to realize that the past lives and events in this place of unspeakable brutality seem to mirror his own trauma with his son Wiley and his wife Elena (Arielle Kebbel). Desperate for answers, Neil enlists Naomi (Miki Ishikawa) to help him find the facility’s last surviving scientist. Ultimately, Neil awakens to a new redemptive responsibility, both within his own family and the greater society around him.
Site is produced by publicist and entrepreneur Benjamin Cooke, Sundance alum, Kelly Hayes, international businesswoman, Yvonne Supangkat, and Jason Eric Perlman.
Blue Fox Entertainment’s James Huntsman said, “Audiences are hungry for high quality science fiction thrillers, which have been scarce in the market recently. With Site, Jason and his talented cast and crew have created an exciting journey that has something relevant to say beneath the surface of the film.”
Director Jason Eric Perlman said, “We are thrilled to have this film beginning its journey in the viewing world. In this time of such unthinkable conflicts I believe it’s vital that creativity explores the interconnectedness of mankind, as well as the atrocities we are capable of inflicting upon one another. Site is intent upon doing both, but with the philosophical imperative that if we ignore history, or the darkness within each of us, we are doomed to repeat the same traumas over and over.
It has been an honor to work with our incredibly talented cast in bringing this story to life, and their commitment to the material elevates it to a remarkable plane. Our visionary crew is also to be credited with what I believe we’ve achieved. The cinematography of Eunah Lee and the brilliant production design of Gabor Norman were integral in the telling of this story to full potential. We are excited to team now with Blue Fox in launching this film into the world.”...

Gilmore Girls is one of several series that continues to amass new fans while retaining its original viewers. Over the years, the series’ fans have debated every aspect of the show. Still, there are only a few storylines that are universally disliked. Dean Forrester’s marriage to Lindsay Lister is one of those storylines. In short, the teen marriage felt out of place and didn’t fit the show’s vibe at the time. Now, years later, we’ve come up with three theories about why the marriage happened in the first place.

Oliver Stark’s Buck may have survived being struck by lightning after the “9-1-1” winter premiere, but the aftermath of the incident will leave the beloved character forever changed.
Monday’s episode of the Fox first responder drama followed as the crew of Station 118 raced to take their friend and colleague to the hospital after facing the high voltage incident during an emergency call. Things looked grim for the fan-favorite firefighter as doctors put him in a medically induced coma to let his body heal from the injuries. The coma gave Buck the opportunity to examine some of his innermost struggles, with a dreamlike adventure that presented him with a version of reality where he never became a firefighter and his older brother Daniel never died.

Gilmore Girls is a mostly beloved TV series, but the show still had storylines that were almost universally despised by fans. Rory Gilmore’s decision to sleep with her married ex-boyfriend is one of them. Rory and Dean Forrester’s clandestine hookups are largely blamed for Dean’s divorce from Lindsay Lister less than a year after their wedding. While we get how Rory gets some blame for the whole situation, we don’t think she was to blame for their divorce, not even a little bit.
Dean Forrester is the one who sought out Rory Gilmore and lied to her
Rory is largely blamed for the demise of Dean and Lindsay’s marriage. Lindsay was hurt by the betrayal, and we felt for her. Still, we think Rory was a victim in the situation, too. While Rory harbored some feelings for Dean, she didn’t really act on them.

The Vampire Diaries had a knack for killing its characters and bringing them back to life almost immediately. No one truly stayed dead in the Tvd universe, and for those who never returned, their spirit usually lingered in the afterlife.
One such character was Lexi Branson, who spent much of her time on the series on “The Other Side.” However, Lexi had so much to offer and should have returned from The Other Side.

Viewers first meet Lexi in season one, episode eight. She was a vampire and Stefan’s best friend who had known the Salvatore brothers for more than a century. Lexi only appeared alive in the series for one episode before Damon killed her to get the Founder’s Council off his and Stefan’s scent.

In Fox’s “9-1-1,” Buck is the 118’s resident messy firefighter. Portrayed by Oliver Stark, audiences have watched the self-assured 30-something flail through relationships, work drama and finding a reliable couch.
However, the sixth-season premiere marked a potential turning point for the character: faced with the setback that Bobby (Peter Krause) will not name him interim captain while he’s on vacation, Buck strove to prove himself tenfold. It’s a decision that Stark said is emblematic of the emotional journey the character has been on for the past five seasons.
“[Buck has] got some really big decisions coming his way. He’s attaching these mottos to his life, and then it’s one thing in theory, and he’s gonna very quickly realize [it’s] maybe a different thing in practice,” the actor said, previewing Monday night’s episode, which will follow an emergency at a happiness convention that will stir some strong feelings.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the 9-1-1 Season 6 premiere “Let the Games Begin.”] There’s a new captain at the 118 in 9-1-1 Season 6 — temporarily, at least. With Bobby (Peter Krause) and Athena (Angela Bassett) going on a cruise, someone has to take over the captain’s duties for his time away. Bobby had planned to ask Lucy (Arielle Kebbel), but she’s sidelined for a few weeks with an ankle injury. Buck (Oliver Stark) argues she hasn’t been there that long, but she does have nearly 10 years of experience as a firefighter, Bobby points out. (Kenneth Choi’s Chimney is strictly in the “never again” camp.) Eddie (Ryan Guzman) doesn’t care, though he is the one to listen to Buck’s rant over dinner with Christopher (Gavin McHugh), who points out he doesn’t even have a couch. Buck’s last few couches came with girlfriends, he explains. But Taylor moved out four months ...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for 9-1-1 Season 5, Episode 14 “Dumb Luck.”] It’s pure luck that firefighter Lucy Donato (Arielle Kebbel) is able to catch a woman falling past a window in the latest 9-1-1 episode — and that woman later saves the victim on another of the 118’s calls. But Lucy can’t help but obsess over the fact that it was just luck that saved that woman’s life, and fellow firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark) tells her of the man he couldn’t save on the roller coaster. He realized that it didn’t matter what brilliant hypothetical he came up with, he’d still be dead. All they can do is take the wins when they get them because their luck can change tomorrow. Kebbel takes us inside this episode and teases what’s ahead for Lucy and Buck (with that kiss still hanging over their heads!). We saw a different side of ...

Why can’t I be a firefighter first?'” Arielle Kebbel tells TVLine. “I think the writers have done a great job of showcasing who Lucy is as a firefighter first, which is very important. All the fun, romantic drama is secondary.”

Lafd’s first responders report back from winter hiatus with things up in the air for both an unfortunate paraglider in the hour’s opening bit and the crew at Station 118: Firefighter Eddie (Ryan Guzman) has transferred to the 9-1-1 call center, and paramedic Chimney (Kenneth Choi) is off helping dispatcher Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) deal with postpartum. That leaves two open slots at the 118 and Buck—Eddie’s old partner and Maddie’s brother—a bit adrift. In addition, his romance with TV reporter Taylor (Megan West) isn’t exactly newsworthy. “There’s a sense of settling there,” admits 9-1-1‘s Stark, whose impulsive hero finds a more kindred spirit tonight in Lucy Donato (Ballers’ Arielle Kebbel), a daring firefighter from another station. The two team up for a breakneck rescue involving a truck wired to blow if it goes under 55 miles an hour. The Speed-like scenario gets pulses racing.

The drama on 9-1-1 is heating up.
Fox on Monday dropped our first look at the back half of 9-1-1 Season 5, and it looks like we're in for a treat.
The series left fans with a lot of cliffhangers with its fall finale, and there will be a lot to unpack on the spring premiere.
The good news is that Chimney and Maddie are very much back in the mix.
Their returns were heavily expected, but there have been many questions about what will become of them.
If you watch 9-1-1 online, you know that Maddie skipped town after leaving her baby at the fire station.
Chimney has been trying to find her ever since, leading to questions about their future.
“I’m sure that you are confused, hurt, and probably really scared. I don’t know what to say. You don’t need to go to the police or come looking for me.
