LONDON -- De Lane Lea managing director Peter Joly said Monday that the British-based postproduction house has been sold to U.S.-based film investment company Acena. The deal, struck for an undisclosed amount, sees the cutting-rooms and sound specialist bought outright from its Dutch venture capitalist owners by Acena, a U.S. consortium of movie producers and financiers. No further financial details of the acquisition were available, but Joly said the new owners have pledged to support De Lane Lea's expansion plans.
