- Véronique Jannot was born on May 7, 1957 in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, France. She is an actress and writer, known for C'est l'homme de ma vie (1997), Sentiments (1987) and Thieves After Dark (1983).
- In 1983 during the Cold War times, she participated in a New Year's Eve show for the Bulgarian National television performing 4 songs live on stage with actor Stefan Danailov (who for the mandate 2005-2009 is the Bulgarian minister of culture). This show made her very popular in the country and her fame is still bright there.
