- Vilma Jamnická was born on November 13, 1906 in Barchov, Austria-Hungary. She was an actress, known for Keby som mal pusku (1971), Fontána pre Zuzanu (1986) and Kto odchádza v dazdi (1975). She died on August 12, 2008 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
- In 1929 , she graduated from the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava to study acting.
- In the years 1925-1926 she studied at the Medical Faculty of the Charles University (Univerzita Karlova - the oldest university in Central Europe and the leading Czech university).
- She was a Czechoslovak actress, astrologer and astrological writer.
- In the years 1929 - 1969 she was a member of the SND ( Slovak National Theatre) drama group; since 1969 she was retired.
- With her husband Ján Jamnicky she was the author of the memoir "Summers and Winters" (1985).
