If there’s one man in Hollywood that is still sticking to his guns, it is Jean-Claude Van Damme. His latest feature is John Stockwell‘s Kickboxer: Vengeance where he assumes a Myagi role to a vengeful brother’s quest to take down Dave Bautista because Big Dave sort of murdered his brother in a no-holds-barred underground fight.
The men are ripped, the (only discernible) woman is treacherous, the testosterone is almost breaking the man-o-meter, and the punches are constant. Also starring Gina Carano, Alain Moussi, Luis Da Silva Jr, see the trailer below ahead of a fall release.
After his brother is brutally killed by the fighter Tong Po (Dave Bautista), Kurt, Etop Udo-Ema Sloane (Alain Moussi) travels to Thailand and trains with the legendary Master Durand (Jean-Claude Van Damme) to avenge his brother’s death.
Kickboxer: Vengeance strikes at theaters on September 2nd.

Good god, but people in the wrestling business have taken on some godawful image changes over the years. These are people who appear in front of millions for a living, and to whom appearances can be everything… yet very often their appearance is so poorly judged that it looks like their parents lost a bet with God.
We’re not talking about changes in gimmick here, which rules out oddities like Kevin Nash as Oz, or Giant Gonzales and his furry, airbrushed nude-leotard.
Neither are we talking about people who looked hilarious when they started out in the business, when perhaps fashion was a little different or they didn’t know any better – so Jeff Hardy as a scrawny boy-band type and Ric Flair’s high-waisted check trousers and huge coiffure don’t count either.
No, this article is dedicated to the wrestlers that somehow didn’t realise that...

Once you've watched Daniel Craig's latest James Bond outing Spectre - and let's face it, you're going to watch Spectre - one of the many questions on your lips will be "So who played Mr Hinx?"
The answer, as the credits, IMDb and the photocall will tell you, is former wrestler Dave Bautista.
So for a little bit more background on one of Bond's most intimidating foes, here's Digital Spy's newcomer's guide to the human embodiment of "Big Dave".
His wrestling career
A 46-year-old, 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m), 278 lb (126 kg) man mountain of Filipino and Greek descent, Bautista has gone by many other names over the course of his wrestling career, including Batista (note spelling), Dave Batista, Deacon Batista, Khan and Leviathan.
As a wrestler, Bautista has claimed so many titles it's almost ridiculous. He is a six-time world champion, winning the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice.

At some point prior to 2015, we can expect to see the return of Batista to WWE television. He’s finished promotion of Guardians of the Galaxy, and with more film projects forthcoming, the former WWE Heavyweight Champion will likely love to want to be visible on WWE television for promotional purposes. Though Batista left WWE solidly entrenched as a heel performer, his heel status likely had more to do with his lack of in-ring conditioning than anything involving his general lack of connectivity as a character. Now, with some time back in the ring under his belt and a superstar movie turn just completed, the WWE Universe may have a different response for the returning superstar.
From in-ring moments to promos and backstage vignettes, there are numerous ways for Big Dave to ingratiate himself once again with the WWE Universe. However, there are ten certain moments, involving obvious names like like Roman Reigns,...

The WWE main roster is always changing, some wrestlers leave for whatever reason happens to cause their departure, some wrestlers move up the card because management wants to give them a push and some wrestlers move downwards, or stay still, sometimes merely because the creative team has a lack of ideas for their television character.
The last twelve months have been memorable and a lot has happened to the main WWE roster since June of 2013. So, let’s take a look at the main superstars who are on the main stage of WWE, rate them, and look at how their future in WWE looks at this moment.
The grading system is as follows:
A+ – Is/Should be one of the main faces of WWE. A true star.
A – Should be/Is in the main event scene and has the talent to stay there.
B – Should be being pushed as a future top contender.

The Wrestling Observer reports that there were stories going around backstage that Batista refused to work with Daniel Bryan at the upcoming Payback because of the size difference.
The Observer “doesn’t know if this is the case,” pointing out that Big Dave had previously stuck up for Bryan when everyone else was squashing him. It should be noted Batista also put Bryan over by tap out at WrestleMania 30.
The Observer sees his refusal to work with Bryan at Payback as evidence that he wasn’t happy about losing a second time. The Batista vs Bryan match at Payback had been scheduled for some time to be Batista’s final night in his comeback, a match in which he would put Bryan over clean. He decided a few weeks back that he didn’t want to do this, he would instead leave after Extreme Rules, resulting in all...

Here we are, finally, at the thirtieth annual WrestleMania event, live from the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Let’s get to the results shall we?
There was a two hour long pre-show for this event that aired on the WWE Network and in other areas of media. The pre-show featured a panel of guys like Mick Foley, Booker T and Shawn Michaels, along with Josh Matthews, discussing the upcoming matches and the spectacle of the event itself. The second hour brought us the pre-show match.
The match in question that aired on the pre-show was the four-way tag team elimination match between the defending champions, The Uso’s, The Real Americans, Ryback & Axel and Los Matadores. The match was okay, allowing each team to get some chances to show their capabilities and shine. The final two teams in the match were The Uso’s and The Real Americans, with...

We are less than two weeks away from WrestleMania 30 and so the television shows that WWE promotes between now and then are the most important “go-home” shows of the year for the company. The final “big sell” before the big show itself. Tonight, Raw is live from Brooklyn, New York.
In the next two episodes of Raw, including this one, we should know, without a doubt, the full card for WrestleMania, and have an idea of what the biggest show of the year has in store for us. Tonight, celebrities will be a part of Raw, as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joe Manganiello and Scooby Doo make appearences, as well as Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker promoted to appear. Should be an interesting show.
The match results;
Christian beat Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio & Sheamus in a fatal-four-way match Sin Cara quickly defeated Damien Sandow Los Matadores beat Ryback & Curtis Axel...

We continue on the Road to WrestleMania XXX and are less than three weeks away. Recent developments in the storylines leading to the event have made it all the more appealing and opened up some intriguing questions as we approach the thirtieth “showcase of the immortals” in New Orleans. Tonight, we are live from San Antonio, Texas.
The quick results of the matches tonight:
The Real Americans defeated, Tag Champs, The Uso’s Sheamus pinned Titus O’Neal Daniel Bryan pinned Randy Orton after interference from Batista Goldust pinned Fandango The Funkadactyls beat Aj Lee & Tamina Snuka Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry & Big E defeated Ryback, Curtis Axel, Damien Sandow & Alberto Del Rio in tag team action Bray Wyatt beat Kofi Kingston

Welcome to this week’s write-up of Monday Night Raw.
The show begins with Randy Orton making his way to the ring, the WWE World Heavyweight Titles around his shoulders, to a chorus of boo’s from the fans. The announcers talk about Randy Orton defending his title against five other men inside the Elimination Chamber at the next PPV. Orton talks about it too, and is greeted with a loud crowd chant of “Cm Punk” who has recently been involved in a controversy in WWE after rumours emerged that he has “walked out” in the past week. Orton says he will beat Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Antonio Cesaro, Christian and Sheamus in said match at the PPV and go on to defeat Batista in the main event of WrestleMania. The fans continue to boo Orton. Triple H’s music plays and “The Game” makes his way out alongside Stephanie McMahon.

Welcome to the Raw following Royal Rumble 2014, the most controversial WWE PPV in many a moon. There are many open questions heading into tonights Raw, and hopefully some of them will be answered in the three hour episode of WWE’s flagship program.
Will the WWE fans continue to voice their vehement support for Daniel Bryan tonight? Will we see new matches made for the upcoming Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania XXX shows? What will happen when the Royal Rumble winner, Batista, steps in front of a crowd after the negative response he received last night on pay per view? Let’s see, shall we?
The show opens with a video package highlighting some of the happenings from last nights Royal Rumble show.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon walk to the ring, hugging and embracing with smiles on their faces. Stephanie welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw and seems to be heeling it up.

Welcome back to the review and results write-up of WWE Raw, apologies for not providing a review for a couple of weeks, but here we are, back as normal.
Raw opens with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon standing in the ring, they talk about the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV and the match that will take place between the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, and the challenger, John Cena. Triple H begins to announce the return of a superstar but Orton instead comes out to a smattering of booes from the fans. Orton confronts Stephanie and Hunter about their poor treatment of him in recent weeks and how he should have been protected more by them and not put in matches with the likes of Cena. Triple H more or less tells Orton to “man up” and they book a rematch from last week between Orton and Kofi. For those who don’t know,...

The final Happy Endings happy hour of Happy Endings season 3 was all about family. In the first episode "Deuce Babylove 2: Electric BabyDeuce" we had a visit from Penny's mom Dana and Dave's dad Big dave, played by Megan Mullally and Michael McKean respectively. In "Brothas and Sisters" Jane and Alex's big sister Brooke was in town for her wedding.
Now I know what you're all thinking...there's a third Kerkovich sister?!? I was pretty darn surprised myself. All you really need to know about her is that she out-Jane's Jane. But we'll get to that in a minute.
It's no secret that Happy Endings has suffered at the hands of ABC scheduling, first getting knocked out for a month and a half for Celebrity Wife Swap with Coolio and Kate Gosselin. Really America? That's sad. Then it was bumped to Fridays which everyone knows is kind of a death sentence in the TV world.

It’s tempting to recap a show like Happy Endings by just transcribing every line and saying ”this was hilarious,” but let’s savor the hour a little more. The gang begins ”Deuce Babylove 2: Electric Babydeuce” hanging out with Penny’s mom, Dana (Megan Mullally), and Dave’s Dad, Big Dave (Michael McKean). When no one can hang out with Max, everyone starts to think about how much time the group actually spends together. Really, it’s just breakfast four or five times a week and drinks every evening. Oh, and they deliver all important news in person. That...

The "Happy Endings" finale airs tonight, and there are many, many reasons (some of them mentioned in this ah-mah-zing list) we're hoping against hope that the gang returns on some network, someday.
The six-person "Happy Endings" ensemble is a well-oiled machine, but as you can see from the clip above, the comedy can incorporate good new characters quite easily. In the first of the finale Season 3 episodes that air tonight, Dave's dad Big Dave (Michael McKean) and Penny's mom Dana (Megan Mullally) arrive in town, and not surprisingly, Dana engages in some non-chalant oversharing. Thank goodness Penny (Casey Wilson) is used to that kind of thing from her eccentric mom.
"She is a force. She's so funny. She's so wacky and sweet," Wilson said of working with Mullally in a recent interview with HuffPost TV. "We have a really great synergy -- we're always on the same page in some way.

I really hope you're watching "Happy Endings." And if you're not, I won't scold, but I will say you're missing a comedy that made me laugh 'til I cried last night.
We are in a mind-melting Golden Age when it comes to half-hour scripted programs these days. I don't want to label them all comedies, because worthwhile shows clocking in at under 30 minutes are all over the comedy-drama-whatever map these days. All I do know is that there are at least two dozen half-hour shows of extremely varying flavors that are well worth your time these days.
In that eclectic half-hour realm, "Happy Endings" is on the gut-busting end of the spectrum, and thank goodness for that. I can't say there are many comedies that make me laugh so hard that I have to pause the DVR to wipe tears from my eyes as the rudely awakened cats on the...

Piranha 3Dd the sequel to the campy (but fun) 'monster' film didn't do incredibly well in the box office. Now it's available for your home viewing pleasure and Eric is here to help you decide wether it's a good thing you missed it in theaters or if it's worth adding to your home collection.
A school of mutated piranhas enter a water park through its piping systems. The step-daughter of its crooked co-owner must find a way to close off the man-eating creatures' access to the amusement facility. The employees of the park attempt to rescue the thrill-seeking swimmers before they're devoured by the aquatic monsters.
Roger Corman's name may not be found in the credits of this sequel, but his spirit is felt throughout it. It's the usual over-the-top creature feature we've all become accustomed to seeing from the B-movie king. Imagine Jaws if it took place in...

There is only one way to "enjoy" Piranha 3Dd and that is drunk and with as many friends as possible, most of you hardly paying attention to what is going on in the film. I haven't seen director John Gulager's Project Greenlight venture Feast, which spawned a pair of sequels after becoming a buzzed about horror film back in 2005, but if this film is any indication of its quality I hope I never do. This is, without a doubt, one of the worst movies I have seen in the last several years. For screenwriters Patrick Melton, Marcus Dunstan and Joel Soisson to leave their names attached as "writers" is an insult to the word. Prior to Piranha 3Dd, Melton and Dunstan were responsible for writing several of the Saw sequels and Soisson can lay claim to the likes of Mimic 2, The Prophecy: Forsaken and Children of the Corn: Genesis among others.
